Mary Trump, Donald Trump's niece, has explained why the POTUS 'can see the end is near' amid his previous comments about not going to heaven.

The 60-year-old has long been a critic of her uncle and even sued him back in 2020 in an inheritance lawsuit, which was later thrown out by a judge.

So, you won't be surprised to hear that Mary's latest comments about the president are somewhat negative.

Speaking on her YouTube channel, Mary Trump Media, the author discussed Trump's recent bizarre afterlife comments and how that should 'scare the f*** out of us'.

She said: "Donald, and I honestly, I find this a little weird, has been contemplating his own mortality lately. Why is that weird? Well, because I don't think he believes that he's mortal. I'm not saying he thinks he's immortal.

"I'm just saying I don't think he looks at it in those terms. So the fact that he is starting to reveal some of his unconscious concerns should...how do I put this delicately? It should scare the f*** out of us, quite frankly. It's almost as if he can see the end is near."

Earlier this year, reports suggested the president asked fans to donate money so he could ‘get to heaven’.

According to Newsweek, emails were dropped in supporters’ inboxes with the subject line ‘I want to try and get to heaven’, while asking his supporters for $15 donations.

Various outlets later reported that the emails were sent out on August 23, before being sent out every few days, which also referenced the attempt on Trump's life in July.

Around the same time, the president told the Fox and Friends breakfast show: "If I can save 7,000 people a week from being killed, I think that’s pretty — I want to try to get to heaven if possible.

"I’m hearing that I’m not doing well. I am really at the bottom of the totem pole. But if I can get to heaven, this will be one of the reasons."

And Trump touched on going to heaven once more earlier this month, after a reporter brought up the subject aboard Air Force One as the Republican president returned to the US following a trip to the Middle East amid a ceasefire in Gaza.

Following the deal between Israel and Hamas, which Trump has been credited for, he was asked how he thinks his odds had improved of getting to heaven, to which he responded: "I'm being a little cute. I don't think there's anything going to get me into heaven.

"I really don't. I think I'm not maybe heaven-bound. I may be in heaven right now as we fly on Air Force One. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to make heaven, but I've made life a lot better for a lot of people."
