An item in Jeffrey Epstein’s multi-million-dollar estate has been revealed - and it’s shocking.
The Epstein case is something that shocked the world, with his nefarious trafficking crimes brought to light decades after it had begun.
After his 2019 death, which was ruled a suicide, things got even more complicated when it was suggested that he had kept a list of associates who travelled to his private island to partake in criminal acts, or at least be in close proximity to Epstein.
It was even rumored that President Donald Trump was one of his close pals, with the Trump administration's apparent U-turn on its intentions to release all the FBI files related to the case spurring online users to believe that he knows more than he lets on.

Specifically, it's a rumored 'client list' that has been causing uproar, after the FBI denied its existence, despite apparent comments made by Trump and his Attorney General Pam Bondi suggesting that there is one out in the world somewhere.

Trump, who admitted to being friends at one point, shared why his friendship with Epstein ended.
"He took people that work for me, and I told him, 'Don’t do it any more'. And he did it. I said, 'Stay the hell out of here'," the POTUS told reporters.

Those who knew Epstein were aware of his lavish lifestyle and his love for women, but the darker nature of his personality and crimes may have only been hinted at and hidden in plain sight in his home.
Now that his home has been sold, something very disturbing was uncovered and it gives insight into his crimes.
An attorney for the co-executors of Epstein's estate confirmed that a sale has closed on his New York City townhouse.
Stationed on East 71st Street, the sale was closed this week for around $51 million, according to Daniel Weiner, a lawyer involved in the sale.

This puts it at a whopping discount from its original price of $88 million.

Epstein moved into the home in the mid-1990s and decked it out with lavish materials.
But it also included a first edition of a book that sparked controversy, even more so when the live-action adaptation was released.

According to photos reviewed by The Times, Epstein showcased a green first edition of Lolita, a 1955 novel written by Vladimir Nabokov, which is told from the point of view of an intellectual man who moves into a woman’s home and soon develops a sexual obsession with a 12-year-old girl.
From there, he believes they have developed a risky relationship, but as it’s told from an unreliable narrative perspective of a man sexually attracted to a minor, in reality, he grooms and repeatedly rapes her before she escapes and her life ends in tragedy.
It’s a very sad and complex story, but with Epstein owning a first edition, it’s a little telling of what he was doing behind closed doors after his underage solicitation was revealed.
