Couple's NSFW act caught on camera moments before they allegedly broke into restaurant together

The restaurant claim the couple made off with hundreds of dollars' worth of items - after sharing a romantic moment in the roses

A couple accused of stealing hundreds of dollars' worth of goods during a late-night break in of a restaurant apparently had plenty of time to share an intimate moment.

At around 10am on Saturday (October 25), local cops responded to a delayed burglary report made by a restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona.

Staff from the Mon Cheri restaurant said two people, a man and a woman, were spotted on their security cameras at around 3.50am that morning, during which the pair forced entry inside the building and allegedly stole several items from the premises.

While it is believed they made off with $450 in cash, an iPhone 5 and a bottle of liquor, owner Lexi Caliskan has been in good spirits about the affair, further revealing how the loved-up suspected burglars appeared to romp in the roses on the patio before apparently carrying out the crime.

Speaking to Fox 10 Phoenix, Caliskan said: "I think it’s maybe all the roses. They definitely have some romantic time up front on the property and our roses.

"And Mon Cheri is my dear in French, which is a really endearing term, so you never know.

"It's a beautiful place for photos."

The restaurant also shared snippets of the footage of the supposed 'love birds', including a brief clip of the woman appearing to take off her coat before bending down in an uncompromising position.

"Help.. they violated our roses, stole cash, liquor & our host phone….," Mon Cheri captioned the Instagram post.

Caliskan also dubbed it a 'modern day Bonnie and Clyde' moment, adding how there were 'roses everywhere' and how the man appeared to tuck into a bag of chips almost immediately after the NSFW act.

"To be so casual, to eat afterward," the stunned owner added to ABC 15.

The pair, who were also initially wearing masks before taking them off, apparently forced their way into the restaurant by breaking down two doors.

They then allegedly 'tore apart' the hostess stand and registers.

The eatery is renowned for its Instagrammable setting and being the 'home of pink pasta,' with an abundance of pink roses, pink food and drink dishes and its cosy, romantic setting.

Despite its amorous vibe, staff at Mon Cheri are now serving up a warning to the alleged suspects to steer clear of their beloved restaurant after 'violating' it.

"This is such a happy place, like c'mon. Look how beautiful. Stay out. We don’t want you. Leave. Never come back," lead server Caitlyn said.

"Just having somebody come inside of your personal space, even if they've not stolen anything like it's not okay.

"And so I think we all just felt really violated, to be honest."

Caliskan added: "Yeah, do not come here. Do not steal from us. We will catch you and we will find you."

The couple are reportedly yet to be taken into custody.
