Candace Owens has claimed that Turning Point USA 'scammed' the number of views that it received for its 'alternative' Super Bowl halftime show.
This year's Super Bowl halftime show saw Bad Bunny take to the stage with an extravaganza celebrating Latin American culture, performing his show entirely in Spanish.
Bad Bunny's halftime show was denounced by Donald Trump, who posted an extended rant about the performance on Truth Social after saying that he would not be attending the game.
But Trump was not alone in his disapproval of the entertainment choice, which also included Green Day as the pre-match entertainment.

Far right campaign group Turning Point USA, which was co-founded by Charlie Kirk, decided to put on their own 'alternative' halftime show, featuring Kid Rock appearing to lip sync through his performance.
The organization claimed to have racked up five million viewers for its 'alternative' show, dubbed the 'All-American Halftime Show', but now Candace Owens has publicly cast doubt on that claim.

In a post shared to X on February 8, the far right TV host wrote: “The problem with people who have a lot of money they didn’t earn, is that they tend to have no idea how stuff actually works.”
Owens, who herself used to work for TPUSA, added: "We have an organization that scammed its views by paying platform advertisers, followed by influencers to pretend they broke records.”
She was responding to a user who claimed the Turning Point livestream only had around 6,000 comments and 670 likes around the time it ended. It now has almost 45,000 comments and 800 likes.
TPUSA posted: “TPUSA All-American Halftime Show … Over 5 million simultaneous on TPUSA YT [YouTube]. Almost 1 million on Charlie Kirk’s YT. 200k on Magno News YT. 220k on TPUSA Rumble. 15k CK Rumble.”
The post continued: “The entire audience on RAV. And noticeably, the audience kept going up throughout the competing show.”
Owens was not a fan of the official halftime show either, writing: “I am sorry but I hate both options."

Speaking about Bad Bunny's performance, she wrote: “We have a haltime show presented without a word of English spoken,” before she concluded, “The left vs. right grift is actually boring now. What exactly are we doing here, America?”
Some viewers criticized the choice to feature an artist singing in Spanish.
Bad Bunny's performance marked a historic moment, being the first halftime show to be performed almost entirely in a language other than English.
According to Forbes, approximately 13 percent of the US population speaks Spanish at home, equating to around 45 million people.
This means there are more Spanish speakers in the US than most countries where it is an official language, and almost as many as in Spain.
UNILAD has approached TPUSA for comment.
