Andy Byron's company Astronomer has issued its own statement following the viral moment that saw the married CEO cosying up to a coworker at a Coldplay concert.
In what is normally a cute and sweet moment caught at concerts turned into a rather embarassing incident for Andy Byron, the CEO of software company Astronomer.
In a moment that has everyone talking on social media will likely have serious consequences for Byron.
He was spotted in attendance at Coldplay’s gig at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Wednesday (July 16) but he when the concert 'kiss cam' shot to him, it was clear that he didn't want to be seen...as he ducked and tried to get out of view.

Byron is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, but he attended the gig with Kristin Cabot, who started her role as the Chief People Officer of Astronomer in November 2024.

In footage that has since gone viral, Byron and Cabot can be seen enjoying the gig as they stand in close proximity, with Byron’s arms wrapped around Cabot as she leans back into his chest.
When the pair realized they were on camera, Cabot rushed to cover her face and Byron ducked down out of the camera’s view and this whole scene left Coldplay frontman Chris Martin baffled.

The company have since said they have launched an investigation into the matter.

It read: “Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability.

“The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly.
“Alyssa Stoddard was not at the event and no other employees were in the video. Andy Byron has not put out any statement, reports saying otherwise are all incorrect.”

This statement from the company comes after a post alleging to be from Byron began doing the rounds on social media.
