The 11-year-old survivor of the recent shooting by a 15-year-old boy in Washington State has spoken out in court.

On October 21, police were called to a home in Fall City, Washington, over reports of a 'disturbance with gunfire at a residential house'.

When they arrived at the property, they made the heartbreaking discovery of two adults and three children deceased.

Later reports revealed that the victims were identified as Mark Humiston, 42, and his wife Sarah, as well as three of their children, seven, nine and 13.

The shooter has been alleged as none other than their 15-year-old son.

Now, the 11-year-old has been heard in court, according to CNN.

Speaking about the shooting, the 11-year-old girl told investigators that she awoke on Monday to the sound of gunshots outside her bedroom door.

When she looked outside of her room, she saw her father with blood on his head and her 9-year-old brother with blood in his mouth lying in the hallway.

Court documents state the 11-year-old said her 7-year-old sister walked out of their shared bedroom, heard another gunshot and then saw her younger sister fall to the ground.

The 11-year-old then said the shooter came into her bedroom and shot her twice, one shot hitting her hand and the other her neck. As he was stood next to her, she 'played dead'.

She stated that she recognized the shooter as her 15-year-old brother and also recognized the gun, her father’s silver Glock handgun.

The child’s mother and her 13-year-old brother had been shot and killed elsewhere in the house, according to authorities.

Speaking of her escape, the 11-year-old said she fled through a ‘fire window’ in her room. She stated she also heard him talking on the phone.

As she escaped through the window, She then went to her neighbors home where they called 911 at around 5 a.m.

However, seven minutes prior to this, the 15-year-old had called 911 for help himself.

According to court documents, the 15-year-old had told an operator that it was his 13-year-old brother who had done the shooting before allegedly killing himself.

Speaking to the operator, the teen said that he was hiding in a bathroom and that his brother had been caught looking at pornography the night before and he was about to get in a lot of trouble, as a possible motive for the shooting.

The 15-year-old was detained when authorities arrived at the home and last week was charged in juvenile court with five counts of aggravated murder and one count of attempted murder with a firearm enhancement.

Many in the local community paid tribute to those who lost their lives at Fall City United Methodist Church at the time.

Hargis Engineers told the Post in a statement to King 5: "We are blindsided and saddened by the tragic events that have led to the loss of a respected colleague, mentor, and friend, as well as the loss of immediate family members.

"Mark’s leadership and vision were integral within our firm, and he will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with his surviving family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time."
