On Tuesday evening, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump touched down at London's Stansted Airport in the UK for their two-day state visit.
Air Force One landed just after 9pm (BST), where Trump and Melania were greeted by UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper as well as the US Ambassador to the UK, Warren Stephens.
On behalf of the King, the couple were also met by Vicount Hood, Lord-in-Waiting.
After departing Air Force One, Trump and Melania were ushered onto helicopter Marine One, which took them to the Ambassador's residence.

On Tuesday evening (16 September), Trump and Melania stayed at Winfield House in Regent's Park ahead of what will be a busy second state visit for the President.
Speaking upon his arrival, he said: "We had a good flight, a lot of people came with us. Tomorrow's going to be a very big day, Mr Ambassador. I love Turnberry. I love Aberdeen, I have a lot of things here that - they warm my heart, I wanna tell you.
"It's a very special place, great place."

Of King Charles III, he added: "We're going to see him tomorrow and he's been a friend of mine for a long time, and everybody respects him, and they love him."
As Trump touched down in the UK, people were quick to point out one detail which they described as an 'insult' to the president.
Many pointed out that there was no red carpet rolled out for Trump when he stepped off Air Force One.

One person wrote online: "US President Trump arrives in the United Kingdom on an official visit.. but no red carpet for him in London, just the airplane runway and a few soldiers!"
While another said: "No red carpet treatment for Trump as he arrives into the UK on Airforce 1. Whatever you may think of Trump, this just is not protocol and an insult."
And a third added: "No red carpet for Trump in England. Shame on you Starmer!"
While it's not clear why Trump didn't receive a red carpet welcome, some suggest that rolling out a red carpet at Stansted Airport isn't standard protocol, and the more formal welcome will take place at Windsor Castle at the beginning of the trip.

On Wednesday (September 17) Trump is expected to meet Prince William and Kate Middleton, as well as King Charles and the Queen at Windsor Castle.
A military flypast will also take place, followed by a visit to the late Queen's tomb and a state banquet during the evening, in which the King and President will deliver speeches.
Although Trump didn't receive a red carpet, he did get a more unwelcome greeting in the form of protestors projecting images of him and the late Jeffrey Epstein on Windsor Castle, leading to four arrests being made.
