A 79-year-old woman who has visited every single country on the planet has revealed her three favorite places that come to mind.
While Danish globe-trotter Thor Pedersen has ticked off every country without flying, Luisa Yu, originally from the Philippines, completed her mammoth challenge of traveling the world at the age of 79.
NBC Miami reports Yu's love for experiencing new countries and cultures began when she was in her 20s, and she has spent the past 50 years attempting to tick off every country in the world while also balancing everyday commitments.
On her travels, Yu has met countless people - some of which she remains in contact with and encouraged her to visit Serbia to complete the challenge.

"They said, please make your last trip to Serbia, we are going to have some party for you," she told NBC Miami. "When I exited the airport, there were people clapping and cheering."
The globe-trotter finds it difficult to pick out a country that she would say is the best, but there are three nations that rank at the top of her list.
Her home country, the Philippines, remains high in her standings, because you cannot beat home can you?

Yu also ranks beautiful Italy and the diverse terrain of Thailand in her top three list of best countries in the world.
The seasoned traveler is turning 80 later this year and is unsurprisingly delighted after completing the incredible feat recently.
"I did fulfil my dream. I was able to buy a house on my own. I was able to travel on my own," Yu said. "I’m just happy. I want to thank all the people that have been so nice and kind to me."

Drew Binsky, who has also visited every single country in the world, ranked the Philippines as the best place that has ‘everything you could want’.
"I would say the Philippines. I think it's the most beautiful country in the world, super safe and full of nice people," Drew told UNILAD last year after questioning him on the best country he's ever visited.
"It's like everything you could want in one country."
While the Philippines may be his favorite, Drew is planning to live in Dubai with his wife in the future due to the 'culture'.

As for Yu, she moved to Miami some years ago and seemingly plans to stay there now that she's visited every single country on the planet.
