If you've ever wanted to quit your job, step on a cruise ship and sail away, then Villa Vie Residences' new 'Golden Passport' might be exactly what you need.
Forget thinking about what to have for dinner, doing the dishes and making your own bed, because the cruise ship company has officially come up with a way to escape every day life forever, meaning that after years on the grind, you don't even need to think about where you might want to spend your golden years.
I say 'golden years' because, naturally, such a life comes with a pricetag, so you might need to spend a bit of time saving up. But once you're there, the full-time cruise ticket is described as a 'revolutionary way to live, travel, and thrive at sea—forever'.
Endless Horizons is a 'permanent residence-at-sea program', and offers an 'all-inclusive' lifestyle which includes dining, housekeeping, laundry, internet, entertainment and wine or beer with meals.

Health concerns? Don't worry, the ticket also comes with annual medical check-ups to keep you in tip-top shape while you're seeing the world.
The Golden Passport allows tourists to take their pick of the Villa Vie Residences cruise ship fleet before setting sail on 'continuous circumnavigations of the globe', with each trip lasting between three and three and a half years.
The trips take passengers across all seven continents, hitting more than 140 countries and more than 400 destinations, not to mention more than 100 tropical islands.

It might look like a lot of numbers, but to have your accommodation, food, and entertainment taken care of, all for less than it could cost to buy a house for your later years, really isn't too bad.
Commenting on the launch, Mike Petterson, Founder of Villa Vie Residences, said: “As people retire, one of their biggest fears is outliving their money. With the Golden Passport, that uncertainty disappears—one payment secures a lifetime of adventure. Our age-tiered pricing ensures that Endless Horizons is no longer just a dream for the few, but an attainable reality for many.”
Kathy Villalba, the company's CEO, added: “Life moves quickly, and the regret most people share is that they didn’t travel the world when they had the chance. The Golden Passport makes that dream possible—and affordable—in a way the cruise and travel industries have never seen before.”
There you go - retirement plans, sorted.
