Woman in tears going door-to-door with resumé trying to find job but people think she should already have one

People are flocking to social media in disbelief after a TikToker revealed they're struggling to find a job.

People are flooding to social media to weigh in after a woman revealed she ended up in tears trying to give out her resumé.

Amid a cost of living crisis, many have found themselves being let go of by companies and have struggled to find another role, leaving them starting 2024 unemployed.

And one TikTok user's video shows just how much it 'sucks' trying to find a job at the moment.

TikToker Lohanny Sant - who goes by @lohannysant on the platform - took to her social media profile earlier this week to share an experience which left her feeling 'the most humbled [she's] ever felt in [her] life'.

In the video, she can be seen with a stack of her resumes, which she explains she's been walking around with, going into coffee shops and restaurants asking if they're hiring and offering to give them a copy.

"It's honestly a little bit embarrassing because I'm literally applying for like minimum wage jobs and some of them are being like, 'We're not hiring,'" she continues.

"And this is like not what I expected."

The TikToker was reduced to tears by the experience.

Sant says she has not just one but two degrees in 'communications and acting' from college and speaks a whopping three languages.

Breaking down in tears, the TikToker resolves: "This sucks. I just want to be a TikToker, if I'm being so for real with you.

"But I can't be delusional anymore like I literally need to make money so I'm just gonna keep trying."

And people are flocking to her post in shock, questioning why she doesn't already have a job.

One TikTok user wrote: "You done a communications degree. How are people NOT hiring you?!"

"Communication degree and three languages??? Girl you looking in the right places?? That should make u bank," another added.

A third commented: "This is the realest tiktok i’ve seen in so long, I FEEL YOU DO NOT FEEL EMBARRASSED!!!"

And a fourth said: "If you speak multiple languages and have a communications degree you should look into translating for government agencies! Good $$ and benefits while you find your dream job! Don’t lose hope , you’ll find something."

The TikToker has thankfully gone on to get some interviews.

Thankfully, in several updates, Sant has since revealed she's had multiple interviews as well as her 'first big audition of the year' - an audition for a TV show.

Good luck Lohanny!
