Streaker At Match Dumped By Boyfriend With Brutal Text

Streaker At Match Dumped By Boyfriend With Brutal Text

Javon Johnson ran onto the field at an NRL game and then got dumped afterwards

A streaker who got absolutely wrecked by security at an Australian rugby league game got a double-whammy after she was also dumped by her boyfriend in brutal fashion after he saw her antics.

Javon Johnson decided that she’d fulfil her life-long dream of running onto the pitch at a major sporting event and got onto the field during an NRL game between the Gold Coast Titans and Parramatta Eels on Saturday.

Johnson – wearing only her bra and jeans – ran straight onto the playing surface and started to amble about before a security guard absolutely flattened her with a tackle.

Johnson was later marched off the field.

She also claims her boyfriend saw what she’d done and sent her a text breaking up with her, saying that she was an ‘idiot’ and a ‘disgrace’.

The pitch invader went onto her social media to share a screenshot of the text, which read: “You’re an idiot and a disgrace. Thank you for an absolute embarrassment. Don’t try contact me.”

She posted it on TikTok with the caption: “When your man doesn’t come to the footy but wakes up to this…”

For those unfamiliar, Australians call rugby league ‘footy’.

The whole incident was clearly something of a long-standing ambition for Johnson, as she reportedly shared a TikTok just before she invaded the field, saying: “One of my actual biggest goals in life has been to actually just run on the football field and I’m doing this, ready? I’m going to.”

So, after the Eels scored to take a 24-16 lead towards the end of the match, she hopped onto the field and ran about before getting folded by the steward.

Some people have claimed that she was hit too hard in the tackle, with Gold Coast chairman telling the Daily Telegraph: “It could have been handled better.

Johnson said it was her 'goal' to run on the pitch.

“You heard this collective intake of breath around the ground. It did seem over the top and it put the intruder at real physical risk.”

Johnson doesn’t agree.

She told Seven News: “I got what I deserved. He [the security guard] was doing his job.”

In a second interview – this time on the radio – she elaborated: “I know exactly what I did. It’s been a bucket list thing and when your friends say, ‘I dare you to do it’, you don’t actually think you’re going to do it.

“It was such a surreal, out-of-body experience. It’s the adrenaline of the crowd…

“I used to play AFL and rugby and I have three brothers, so getting tackled was not a problem. The tackle was honestly fine, it was more how much air I got.

“I guess it just looks so much worse. He could have just grabbed me at that time and I would have fallen over.

“I think it’s fair play. I definitely took what I deserved. He should keep his job.”

In a statement, the Gold Coast Titans said they are ‘working with Cbus Super Stadium and their security provider to get a full understanding of the incident and we will have a report from the venue in coming days’.
