Jutta Leerdam could bank over $1 million after doing the most unexpected celebration when she won Gold.

The 27-year-old Dutch speed skater, who is engaged to influencer Jake Paul, finished first in the women’s 1,000 meter speed skating race on February 9.

Leerdam set a new Olympic record as she won gold, as she clocked an incredible 1:12.31 in the 1,000 metres.

Her huge achievement went viral shortly after winning the gold. Breaking down in tears, the athlete pulled down the zipper of her orange and blue racing suit to reveal a white Nike sports bra.

Leerdam skated around the ice rink as the audience cheered and applauded her win.

Nike took notice, and swiftly edited and uploaded a photo of the Gold medalist celebrating her achievement.

“When you’re this fast, you don’t ask for permission,” the brand wrote in the caption.

“Jutta Leerdam breaks the Olympic record in the Speed Skating 1000m and wins her first Gold.”

Now, why is this detail so important, you ask? Nike’s post appears to be referring to the fact that the Netherlands Winter Olympic official merchandise sponsor is FILA. However, Leerdam chose to wear a Nike sports bra and put it on full display.

And now advertising experts are predicting that this crucial decision could make her a fortune in partnerships.

According to advertising expert Frederique de Laat, founder of female athlete marketing agency Branthlete, the athlete could be set to rake in the cash after the move.

"With Nike, I suspect you’re looking at a figure of over a million," she told Dutch publication AD.

Leerdam has over six million followers on her Instagram account alone, a number which is sure to grow following her appearance at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan.

As she celebrated her Gold medal, Paul could be seen crying tears of pride. Leerdam headed over to the sideboards, where she blew a kiss and made a heart shape with her hands to Paul.

The pair became Instagram official in April 2023, after the former Disney Channel star slid into her DMs to invite the world champion onto his podcast.

“I never, ever expected to date him, like never,” Leerdam revealed on the Countdown: Paul vs. Tyson documentary. “Of course, I didn’t know a lot about him. I could only scroll on his Instagram and form an opinion like the whole world does. But he is the complete opposite.”

Paul proposed to the athlete in March of last year while they were on a trip to St Lucia. They announced the news in a joint Instagram post as they said they ‘can’t wait to spend forever together’.
