Jake Paul has shared an update on his recovery with fans, two months after he was knocked out by Anthony Joshua in their highly anticipated Netflix fight.
The pair went toe to toe back in December, with Joshua brutally securing the win when he knocked out Paul in the sixth round of the competition.
As a result of the powerful punches, Paul broke his jaw and had to undergo urgent surgery to try and fix it, yet despite two months of recovery from the painful injury, it appears the star is still having issues, as his jaw hasn’t healed quite like he had hoped.
This means the 29 year old had to undergo another surgery in order to try and address the issues he has been struggling with post-fight.

"Had to get another jaw surgery. The screws and plates were coming loose because apparently I didn’t rest for the past 2 months whaattttttttt," Paul lamented to his followers on Instagram.
Alongside the caption, the boxer shared three videos and three photos, which depicted him getting ready for surgery, being wheeled to the room in a wheelchair, and also showed what his mouth ought to look like post-surgery.
The news of a second surgery comes just two months after Paul went under the knife to fix his broken jaw immediately after leaving the venue of his fight. Instead of taking part in the usual post-fight press interviews, Paul was driven straight to hospital where medics got to work setting his jaw and hopefully reducing the risk of any permanent damage.
The initial procedure reportedly went well, with Paul updating his followers at the time: "Just got out of surgery. Everything went smooth. Thanks for all the love. Lots of pain and stiffness. Gotta eat liquids for 7 days," he wrote in the immediate aftermath of his fight with Joshua.
"S/o to the amazing team at Miami University hospital. Everyone was so gracious and caring. @ArmaniiJayy took amazing care of me with @iam_loriv.”

Although Paul may not have won the fight, he did earn himself high praise from Olympic champion Joshua in the hours that followed, as the athlete praised his opponent for even stepping into the ring against the former heavyweight champion, despite his lack of experience.
"Jake Paul has done really well tonight, I want to give him the props. He got up time and time again," he said after the fight.
"It was difficult in there for him, but he kept trying to find a way. It takes a real man to do that. You have to give Jake credit for trying, but he came up against a real fighter tonight."
