What we know after TikTok star Khaby Lame is shockingly detained in the US

A political activist has spoken out, claiming Lame had been travelling around the US for three years without proper documents

It has been four days since the world's biggest TikToker was shockingly detained in the US for violating immigration rules.

Khaby Lame had flown in to America on April 30 ahead of attending the Met Gala the following Monday (May 5) - posting on TikTok his collaboration with BOSS who had put him up in an 'archive-inspired' suit.

His gray zoot style suit grabbed the attention of eyes around the globe, with his waistcoat drawing particular attention with the amount of tick-tocking it was doing - as at least 24 pocket watches were fastened to his attire.

"Decorated with antique pocket watches, #KhabyLame, the King of TikTok, embodies iconism that stands the test of time #BeYourOwnBOSS," BOSS shared on its Instagram.

But that 'iconism' can only stretch so far in the States - which the Senegalese-Italian discovered on Friday (June 6).

After five weeks and two days in the country, the 25-year-old opted to fly out of Las Vegas.

In a statement issued to AFP, ICE confirmed: "US Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained Seringe Khabane Lame, 25, a citizen of Italy, June 6, at the Harry Reid International Airport, Las Vegas, Nevada for immigration violations."

The agency went on to explain how he was held for 'overstaying the terms of his visa', but that the UNICEF goodwill ambassador was released the same day and 'has since departed the US'.

Now, conservative political activist Bo Loudon has revealed that he was the person who reported Lame to ICE.

Speaking to Dylan Page in an exclusive TikTok interview, he was asked how he knew that Lame was violating US immigration rules, as he claimed that he had been moving illegally around the US for years.

Loudon replied: "So he had worked with a few of my friends, so my business partners, they worked with him, and he was on one of their companies. Basically they just told me his visa was revoked three years ago, yet he's come back to the US 49 times on a revoked visa.

"He was making money in the United States, and many people were saying that he was signing contracts under different names and sending money back to Senegal. So he was like in the country, evading taxes and on a revoked visa for three years.

"I just called some buddies in the administration, and I never seen anything happen so quick. They were like, we're gonna get right on this. They actually gave him till June 1 to self deport. But he didn't do that either."

He continued: "He wanted to stay because he had other contracts signed to attend things in the United States, one of which I was at.

"There was, 'The Beautiful Game' it was called - a bunch of celebrity soccer players and things like that and Khaby was supposed to be there, signed contracts to be there, but that was the day before he got deported, because that was June 6 - past June 1.

"He was still in the United States on a revoked visa. He didn't self deport, so they went and picked him up in Vegas as he was in the airport to head to Miami for that event."

Lame is yet to address the detainment on his social media accounts.

UNILAD has contacted Khaby Lame's representatives for comment.
