Dramatic footage has emerged of a single Ukrainian tank appearing to take on an entire Russian convoy.
Russian President Vladimir Putin's 'special military operation' has entered its sixth week in Ukraine. Kremlin forces have now completed their withdrawal from areas around Kyiv, instead 'regrouping and conducting reconnaissance' for an offensive in Donbas, the military has said.
In a clip shared by the Carpathian Sich volunteer battalion of Ukraine's armed forces, a T-64 tank can be seen taking on a column of Russian armoured vehicles on its own.
The footage was shared to Telegram, then distributed to Twitter by Ukraine Weapons Tracker (@UAWeapons) and researcher Arslon Xudosi (@Arslon_Xudosi).
It's believed the clip dates back to 31 March, with the tank striking Russian troops as they were retreating from the region. More specifically, it's said to show a tank from the Dmytro Korchynsky Brotherhood Battalion, as per The Telegraph.

Initially, the tank seems to catch the Russian column by surprise, sparking an uncoordinated flurry of fire before the other side works out where the tank's explosive rounds are coming from.
The Ukrainian crew operating the tank then fire another round at the column around 150m away, instead hitting an area of woodland with a large blast. This suggests it was a high explosive round generally used for lightly armoured vehicles, as opposed to anything that could penetrate a tank's hull.
The lone tank then swings the hull to face the direction of the Russian convoy and fires once more, this time hitting a Russian BTR-82, sparking return fire and the rollout of troops from the rear of the column to find the tank.
The tank continues to exchange fire with the Russian vehicles, with one soldier attempting to fire an anti-tank missile. They miss, instead hitting a house.
The footage ends before it's clear whether the Ukrainian tank managed to make it out of the situation.
Xudosi wrote: "Insane combat footage shows a single Ukrainian tank engaging a large #Russian convoy consisting of several tanks and BTR-82A. Several Russian vehicles destroyed."
This was backed by Ukraine Weapons Tracker, which also wrote: "Remarkable footage of a single UA T-64BV tank engaging a Russian convoy, destroying a BTR-82A from an ambush position.
"Though other shots miss, appears that this held up the convoy enough for UA indirect fire to strike it, taking out other armour and leading to a retreat."
