Donald Trump has issued a very stern message to Vladimir Putin as their relationship seemingly continues to break down.
Once upon a time, Trump would brag about his close relationship with Putin, but they haven't seen eye-to-eye for some time now.
The two met in Alaska back in August to discuss ending the devastating war between Russia and Ukraine. Trump appeared to leave the meeting with high hopes that they would soon reach an agreement that would end the bloodshed.
This has been far from the case, however, and Trump gave a very bleak update on Russia and Ukraine's relationship last month.

As Putin continues to throw his weight around and seemingly show intention of ending the war with Ukraine, he recently bragged about Russia having the 'highest level' of nuclear forces in the world.

His remarks followed a nuclear missile test last week. Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov told President Putin in a televised meeting: "We have launched a multi-hour flight of a nuclear-powered missile and it covered a 14,000km (8,700-mile) distance, which is not the limit."
Reportedly, the missile has 'unlimited range'.

Trump has since reacted to the test taking place and made his thoughts on the matter very clear.
Speaking to reporters on Air Force One on Monday (October 27), the president warned, per Fox News: "I know we have a nuclear submarine, the greatest in the world, right off their shores. So, I mean, it doesn’t have to go 8,000 miles, and they’re not playing games with us. We’re not playing games with them either."

Trump continued: "We test missiles all the time. But, you know, we do have a submarine, a nuclear submarine. We don’t need to go 8,000 miles.

"And I don’t think it’s an appropriate thing for Putin to be saying either, by the way. You ought to get the war ended. A war that should have taken one week is now in its soon fourth year. That’s what you ought to do instead of testing missiles."
The POTUS was also grilled about possibly hitting Russia with more sanctions, to which he replied: "You'll find out."
But Russia appears to have been unfazed by Trump's remarks and has since carried out yet another test, this time with a new atomic-powered and nuclear-capable underwater drone.
According to Putin, the new weapon cannot be intercepted.

Speaking at a meeting with soldiers wounded in Ukraine, Putin said the Poseidon drone was tested while running on nuclear power for the first time on Tuesday, describing it as a 'huge success'.
