US President Donald Trump has run into an issue with his new lawn, and he took to Truth Social to express his frustration about it.

Trump has undergone a huge renovation to the White House, and it's not just the state ballroom that is getting a makeover, but also the gardens.

The White House's Rose Garden has had a new addition in the form of a white stone slab over the lawn, and despite some people's complaints of the 'parking lot' now in place, Trump insists it's getting 'great reviews'.

"We’re getting great reviews of the Rose Garden, and we had to do it," he told reporters on Sunday (August 3). "When we had a press conference, you’d sink into the mud.

"It was grass and it was very wet, always wet and damp and wet and if it rained it would take three, four, five days to dry out and we couldn’t use it really for the intended purpose."

However, it appears as though it might not have been as great as initially expected, as Trump took to his social media platform to complain about an imperfection in the stone.

Along with security footage of the incident, which shows two employees wheeling a plant and the cart falling for a moment before seeming to get stuck, Trump wrote: “I used, at the White House, the most beautiful marble and stone available anywhere.

“Surfaces are very important to me as a Builder. As everyone knows, I built many GREAT Buildings, and other things, over the years. At the White House, I am very proud of the beautiful stonework we did in the Rose Garden, in this case, using limestone plus.”

“The Rose Garden is completed, and far more beautiful than anyone ever had in mind when it was conceived of, decades ago,” he continued.

He then went on to share how the alleged accident happened, as he continued: “Three days ago, while admiring the stonework, I happened to notice a huge gash in the limestone that extended more than 25 yards long. It was deep and nasty! I started yelling, ‘Who did this, and I want to find out now!’

“I wondered, ‘Was it vandalism or, was it stupidity?’ Lo and behold, because of the fact that we’ve installed the finest security equipment anywhere, they brought back the stupid people, with their boss watching (in sunglasses!).”

He said that the subcontractor was 'installing heavy landscaping on a steel cart that was broken and tilting badly, with it rubbing hard against the soft, beautiful stone’.

This is something he said should never have happened, and now he will be replacing the stone, and that he will ‘charge the contractor, and never let that contractor work at the White House again', before patting himself on the back for how 'great' their video equipment is.

His complaint about landscaping comes amidst the bizarre rumors of his alleged death over the weekend on social media.
