Up until recently, most people assumed Mark Zuckerberg could only hurt a person from behind a keyboard – but this has all changed after he showed off his MMA skills.

The Meta CEO shared a clip of him sparring with Khai Wu ahead of the UFC fighter’s match against Joshua Dillon last night (September 3).

Alongside the clip, Zuckerberg wrote: "One of my training partners, Khai Wu, is making his UFC Fight Pass debut tonight. Go get it Khai and looking forward to a great fight!"

Although the training sesh wasn’t enough to lead Wu to victory at Urijah Faber's A1 Combat 5, the Big Tech mogul earned some rare praise from the UFC world for his fighting capabilities.

That includes from controversial podcaster and UFC commentator Joe Rogan, who recently had Zuckerberg on his show.

Rogan wrote: "This is great! I’m so happy to see this. Training looks solid too!"

UFC champs Alexander Volkanovski and Aljamain Sterling also commented on his skills, writing, "Looking the goods," and, "This is really amazing to see! Idk, UFC debut might be coming soon for you too," respectively.

Conor McGregor chimed in to say: "Yo!!! F***ing awesome Mark!"

UFC even commented from its official Instagram account, describing the combos as 'clean'.

So, the question remains – is Zuckerberg gearing up for a UFC debut? If he is, there’s one person we know would love to fight him.

That person is Paddy Pimblett, aka Paddy the Baddy.

Earlier this year, the MMA legend called out the Facebook founder in his post-match interview after winning against Rodrigo Vargas at UFC London on March 19.

After only his second ever fight in the UFC, the 27-year-old Liverpudlian said: "Who do I want to fight? Mark Zuckerberg.

"Lad I'm going to punch your head in, I am sick of you. Sick of you shutting my Instagram accounts down when all I do is help charities and help people with mental health problems.

"You're the biggest bully in the world, lad."

The fighter was upset with Zuckerberg after he claimed that he is the reason why his Instagram accounts were being banned.

Although it’s been a fair few months since then, with Zuckerberg’s training well and truly underway, a Pimblett vs Zuckerberg isn’t completely beyond the realms of possibility.

The fans are certainly into the idea, with one writing at the time: "Ironically I’d pay more money to watch Pimblett fight Mark Zuckerberg than I would for literally any other UFC PPV."
