Kanye West appears to quash beef with Pete Davidson with touching tribute to Queen Elizabeth II

Kanye told his Instagram followers that he was 'releasing all grudges today'

Kanye West might have just quashed his beef with Pete Davidson following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Queen passed away on Thursday (8 September) at the age of 96.

Buckingham Palace made the official statement at 6.30pm on Thursday, which read: “The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.

“The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.”

As celebrities and world leaders around the globe are paying tribute to Her Majesty, it seems that Kanye, in the most Kanye way possible, has decided to stand out from the crowd with his.

Alongside a bizarre photoshopped snap of the Queen with sunglasses on, the musician appeared to reveal that he has quashed all of his major beefs.

His dislike for his ex-wife's former boyfriend Pete Davidson has been well documented - yet it seems that Ye has had a change of heart.

In a now-deleted post, Kanye wrote in caps: "LIFE IS PRECIOUS.

"RELEASING ALL GRUDGES TODAY.

"LEANING INTO THE LIGHT.

"BEST WISHES AND BLESSINGS TO PETE CUDI DANIEL CHEERY."

Whether or not he has truly cooled things off with Davidson remains to be seen, however, it's safe to say that the rapper was certainly not a fan.

Earlier this year, Kanye shared a disturbing music video which shows him burying Davidson, in cartoon form, chucking a bag over his head and kidnapping the comedian on the back of a motorcycle.

Pete then gets buried in the ground with only his head poking out.

The clip finishes with a text scene that says 'everyone lives happily ever after' and 'except for Skete you know who'.

It ends with 'jk he's fine'.

In the song's lyrics, the rapper appears to diss the Saturday Night Live host: "God saved me from that crash.

"Just so I can beat Pete Davidson's a** (Who?)"

Kanye also raps about Julia Fox, who he briefly dated, adding: "And my new b***h bad, I know Illuminati mad."

Quite understandably, fans were left pretty confused by the clip, with one person saying: "Kanye is obsessed with Pete like Pusha was with Drake."

Another added: "I truly believe Kanye is capable of doing something to Pete… it’s getting weird."
