John Leguizamo says he tips waiters and valets with $100 bills as it's not right to tip less

He pointed out that it isn't the '70s anymore, which therefore means tipping with a $20 is no longer acceptable.

You know who ain't cheap? John Leguizamo.

So, wait staff, if you ever get the chance to serve the Leguizamo Does America star, be prepared to give it all you've got because that man tips well.

The 62-year-old sat down with Good Morning America to chat about his new sci-fi show The Power.

During his little chat he revealed that he habitually carries a few hundys around in case he has to tip waiters, valets, and other staff.

"Come on, this ain't the '70s," Leguizamo quipped. "You can't tip with $20 bills. People are going to throw that back at you."

He then went on to claim he does this as he isn't 'cheap' - and to make sure people who rely on tips are being paid fairly for their hard work.

"You've got to give back," he said. "If people are giving you their best service, and you don't tip them? Come on, who are you?

He then added: "I'm not a cheapskate."

We must protect this treasure of a man at all costs. So, muggers, if you're reading this, you saw nothing.

Deal? Deal.

The 10-part series has been adapted for television by Prime Video.

Basically, the premise is this: All over the world, teenage girls and young women start developing the power to create electricity within themselves.

Sparks fly from their fingertips and a power shift follows, tipping the balance of society.

Women no longer suffer at the hands of men.

They can defend themselves.

Leguizamo plays Dr. Rob Lopez on the Prime Video series.

He went on to explain how women in the show's universe develop the ability to shoot electricity from their bodies.

"Can you imagine a world where women take over? It'd be a great place. So that's what this series is," Leguizamo said, proving himself to be even more of a treasure than earlier.

"Teenaged girls develop an organ through evolution to protect themselves, and it gives them electricity.

"Static shock for some girls, nuclear blasts for other girls - and men are afraid."

He added: "It's a great, scary, powerful series."

Sounds good to us.

The latest foray into superhero and sci-fi is getting some great reviews, and, with a cast including Australian actor Toni Collete, author of the book Naomi Alderman, and the iconic Leguizamo, there's no doubt it'll leave viewers feeling, well, energized.
