English and Welsh football fans came together on Tuesday night to not only watch the huge fixture but also to share an incredible pub experience thanks to Guinness and Greene King.
The Globe, a Greene King pub in Marylebone, was converted into The Guinness Arms for the huge match between England and Wales and it was the Three Lions fans who were the ones celebrating come the end of the night.
The first-half of the game was a close-fought goalless match, but five minutes after the break, there was Guinness flying in the air as Marcus Rashford scored an incredible free kick. The smiles on the faces of England fans grew even wider as Phil Foden and another Rashford goal sealed the win.

It may have been a night to forget on the pitch for Wales fans as their team was knocked out of the tournament, but their fans were still in high spirits at the Guinness Arms @ The Globe as the Guinness was flowing and the atmosphere was buzzing throughout the rest of the evening.

Before the game and during half-time, fans were joined by Euro 2022 winner Ellen White and Welsh legend Robert Earnshaw. The duo were on incredible form as White shared her thoughts on the tournament so far as well as giving her opinion on whether England can go all the way and win the World Cup, while Earnshaw spoke about Gareth Bale and the atmosphere around the Welsh camp when he’s in the squad.
White singled out Lionel Messi as impressing her the most at the tournament, saying: “He’s a superstar, what he does with that pressure, he performs and he is using it as motivation. It just shows who is the best of the best during a tournament.”
The former Lionesses striker also said what every England fan wanted to hear as she believes that England can win the tournament in Qatar this winter.

Earnshaw recalled the time that Wales superstar Gareth Bale made his Wales debut, saying: “Everyone before they make their debut for Wales has to sing and we ended up booing Gareth off because he was that bad!”
The former Welsh striker believes Rashford should've scored his first half chance but he was then made to eat humble pie as he watched the Man United striker bag a second half brace to lead England to victory.
