A Twitch streamer recreating an iconic Jackass stunt got the police called on her at a skate park yesterday (14 May).

Twitch streamer, ExtraEmily, had a run-in with a cop after she an attempt to kayak in the middle of a skate park in a Jackass-style stunt.

In her latest broadcast to the platform, Emily, took on the challenge and filmed herself pulling the famed 'Urban Kayaking' stunt coined by Jackass stars Dave England and Ehren McGhehey back in the early 2000s.

The stunt in question pretty much ended how you'd expect - with the Twitch streamer rolling down the small slope before completely capsizing on the ground.

While the comment section on the stream was filled with laughing emojis, it's clear, however, that not everyone was a fan of the Jackass-themed escapades after a police officer was called to the scene to investigate the bizarre situation.

An off-screen police officer can be heard approaching Emily as she greets him with a cheery 'hello sir'.

After the niceties were out the way, the police officer asks: "Are you the kayaker?"

Emily then confirms in a light-hearted tone: "I am the kayaker!"

"First of all," he began. "Somebody complained about it."

The police officer continued: "They said that you were kayaking here. I asked those guys over there and they said you’ve been respectful, you're not getting in their way or anything like that."

Emily politely listened on as the officer further explained the situation to her.

"If there’s a call I have to come, there’s no specific rule that says you can’t do it, so you don’t have to leave. But I do have to come and at least check out what’s going on, so that’s what I’m doing," he said.

"But you seem very, kind of conscious, so I don’t think there’s an issue, you don’t have to leave. If anyone calls, we have to come out every time."

After thanking the police officer for allowing her to continue with her antics, Emily agreed: "That makes sense."

Just before departing, the officer let his curiosity get the best of him and asked the Twitch streamer why on earth she had opted for the fairly odd choice of transportation in a skatepark which, you know, mostly sees skateboards, the odd BMX or two and, at the very most, a pesky scooter.

"I’m just curious, is it… why kayaking on a skateboard?" he asked.

The Twitch streamer responded: "It’s kind of like a Jackass thing, so they did it in Jackass."

And the legacy lives on...
