Employee gives top tips for ordering McDonald’s food

This will make your next trip even better.

McDonald's has been a fast food favourite since the first branch opened its doors back in 1955, but it turns out there is a right and a wrong way to order.

Now, one employee has taken to TikTok to share their ordering tips so that you get the most out of your next visit to the Golden Arches.

The video begins with the employee explaining a handy money hack, revealing that you'll get more chicken nuggets for your money if you buy two packets of 6 for $2, each as opposed to one packet of 10 for $4.99.

The more you know, eh?

Now, if you're a fan of fast food, you'll know that it's not always the freshest, but that doesn't need to be case if you know how to order it properly.

And if you want your fries to be completely fresh, then simply order them without salt and the employees will cook them there and then, instead of taking them from the waiting frier.

But it's not just fries that you can get fresher if you're in the know, you can also get a fresher burger too.

According to the employee, if you want fresh meat on your burger, simply order it without salt too.

As you can imagine, these seriously useful tips went far from unnoticed on TikTok, and at the time of writing, the video has been liked over a quarter of a million times.

Reacting to the tips, one TikTok user wrote: "I've been waiting for this tik tok [sic]."

However, a second advised: "DO NOT I repeat DO NOT order no salt fries just simply ask for the fries COOK TO ORDER! Sincerely a McDonald's worker [sic]."

"I always say no salt and they come hot af," remarked a third, while a fourth joked: "imgine asking for no salt and when you get your order ask for packets of salt [sic]."

"I worked at McDonald’s and this is true," confirmed a fifth viewer.

This kind employee - who goes by the name of Pat on TikTok - then followed his initial viral TikTok up with two additional ordering tips.

Firstly, he advised that if you're ordering at the drive-thru, be wary of what you're saying as the employees can hear literally everything the moment you pull up.

He also said that anyone looking to save some of their hard earned cash to order through the app, where there are often additional deals and discounts available.
