A teenage girl who is accused of murdering her mom and stepdad allegedly posted haunting social media images in the months following their deaths.

Sarah Grace Patrick has been charged as an adult and is currently facing two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated assault after her mom, Kristin Brock, 41, and stepdad, James Brock, 45, were found shot in their home in February.

After the deaths, the 17-year-old appeared to be a distraught older daughter in her posts on social media, but police seem to believe otherwise.

Patrick shared a series of selfies of herself crying and claiming to be struggling with the idea that her parents had been ‘wrongfully’ murdered in their beds at home.

She even gave a tearful funeral eulogy, telling the crowd she ‘never once thought to imagine y'all not being here’.

But after Patrick was arrested and charged with the double murders on July 8, her social media accounts were seen in a new light.

On TikTok, she created a video one month after her parents were killed, hopping on a sad trend.

It contained a series of pictures of her parents, with emotional music overlaid with her text allegedly reading: "They don't know it, but a year from now me and my 5-year-old sister would find them wrongfully shot dead in our home - and they won't get to watch me graduate high school, see me walk down the aisle, or even say goodbye."

Patrick then allegedly wrote in the caption: "I miss you guys, save a seat for me in heaven."

At the time of the killings, Patrick was just 16 years old when it is alleged she shot her parents as they slept in their home in Carrollton, west of Atlanta, on February 20.

Police claim that she was in the home when her parents were murdered and then called 911 after her five-year-old sister discovered their bodies.

With no signs of forced entry or a robbery, authorities began to look within the family for a suspect.

In another social media post, Patrick allegedly wrote about how she hated herself for not being able to save her young sister from the trauma of finding their parents' bodies.

She reportedly wrote: "I can't help but hate myself because I didn't wake up to find them before my 5yo sister had to find her parents like that."

It's alleged that another read: "It hits me when I see my 5-year-old sister screaming for her mommy and daddy."

In other posts, the teen appeared to praise her mom, with one allegedly stating: "I don't know if she ever realized… that the person I most wanted to be was her."

She also posted as she was traveling to their funerals, with her appearing to tear up as she overlaid her feelings on the image: "This can't be real. Otw (on the way) to my parents' funeral."

Patrick's eulogy at the Catalyst Church in Carrollton, Georgia, showed her tearful and crying, as she said: "I just wanted to say goodbye to my mom and James since we never got the chance to."

Carroll County Sheriff's spokesperson Ashley Hulsey told NewsNation: "It seemed odd. It was more like a speech, and at the end she said, ‘I’m sorry.’

"Was that, ‘I’m sorry because I may have done this,’ or is it, ‘I’m sorry because I was upset during this eulogy’? We may never know."

In the end, she handed herself to police after a warrant was issued for her arrest, while 'mountains of physical and digital evidence' led to the 17-year-old being charged.

The sheriff's office said: "This case remains an active and ongoing investigation, and additional arrests are possible as new evidence comes to light. Anyone with information is still encouraged to come forward."

UNILAD has contacted the Carroll County Sheriff's Office for further comment.
