Fears of the AI takeover has taken over the adult content world as OnlyFans stars worry their jobs might be usurped by artificial intelligence models.
It's no secret that some people are absolutely raking it in on the subscription-based app, with celebs like Blac Chyna earning an eye-watering $20 million (£17.7 million) per month.
According to the top ten OnlyFans earners of 2022, Bella Thorne came in second place, drawing in a whopping $11 million (£9.7 million) per month on the platform.
Of course, it's not just celebs who make bank on there - thousands of people have ditched their 9-5s in favour of their OnlyFans career.

With so much money at stake, it's no surprise some content creators were left concerned when a series of photos showing AI-generated models went viral.
In the first snap, four nearly-identical blonde women are stood arm in arm as they gaze at the camera wearing black lingerie.
A second image, created by artist The Realist, shows the hyper-realistic models in pink lingerie striking a similar pose, with social media suggesting they were both created using AI-software.

Taking to Twitter, user @heartereum said: "Apparently this picture and others are going viral on socials because women are SEETHING and debating whether these girls are AI generated."
They followed up the message with a variety of OnlyFans-esque images created using Uberrealistic, an AI generator that uses sophisticated techniques to create realistic images of people, places and objects.
Quite frankly, it's really hard to tell the difference between these photos and those you'd find on the app.
The Twitter user went on to say: "I am totally starting a fake AI generated OnlyFans for gullible idiots if I fail this trading thing...

"The point is they are already good enough to pass as real for 80% of npc paypigs."
Clearly there's a market for it, with some 'customers' showing interest already.
"Can you create a red hair Asian girl with green eyes? For research purposes obv," wrote one, while another said: "I need all their @'s asap."
And with deepfakes also making waves in recent years, it seems tech-created content is just around the corner.

But the question that comes up time and again is: would subscribers feel satisfied with a purely artificial interaction?
It's hard to believe it could fully replace authentic and real-life interactions. But as we all know, stranger things have happened in the digital era we live in.
