The Osbourne family were visibly moved by a tribute paid to Ozzy Osbourne at tonight's Grammys (February 1).
The lead singer of Black Sabbath died at the age of 76 in July 2025, just weeks after the legendary rock band did a farewell concern in Birmingham, UK.
Confirming his passing, his family said in a statement on July 22: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.
"He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time."

To pay homage to the late Prince Of Darkness at tonight's Grammys (February 1), Post Malone, Guns N’ Roses’ Slash and Duff McKagan, The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ drummer Chad Smith, and Osbourne’s producer Andrew Watt – all of whom collaborated with Ozzy in recent years – took the stage at the Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena.

As the group of musicians' performance of Black Sabbath's 'War Pigs' drew to a close, a large black and white photo of Ozzy was put on the screen.
The camera then panned to show Sharon, Jack, and Kelly Osbourne in the crowd and they were all moved to tears.
"What a powerful tribute," someone said of the performance, adding: "You could feel the love and respect in every note. Seeing the Osbournes so emotional made this hit even harder."
"Best performance of the night so far. Did not expect that," another penned.
A third said of the moving tribute: "That tribute to Ozzy was absolutely crushingly awesome. What a performance by those guys."
The performance follows Yungblud paying homage to Ozzy in his speech, while accepting the Grammy for Best Rock Performance.
He took Sharon up on stage with him to accept that accolade and went on to recall one of his final conversations with the Black Sabbath icon.
"The last time I saw Ozzy Osbourne, you asked me if there was anything you could do for me," Yungblud said.
"I answered that the music was enough and I can safely say on behalf of all of us that it still stands now and it will do forever."
He went on: "You'll be with me every time I'm nervous, and on stage at every show. God bless rock music and God bless f**king Ozzy Osbourne."
