Rapper Blueface has been stabbed by a complete stranger while in the middle of a workout at his gym.
While all eyes may be on Tommy Fury and KSI's hugely anticipated bout, the US star was set to face social media star-turned boxer-Salt Papi on an undercard that also includes a fight between Logan Paul and MMA fighter Dillon Danis.
Fans of Blueface were very much looking forward to the bout at Manchester's AO Arena, but unfortunately, that will no longer be happening due to the stabbing incident.
As per the Los Angeles Times, police responded to a call shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday after reports that someone had been assaulted with a deadly weapon in the 7000 block of Reseda Boulevard, Los Angeles.
This particular block is actually where the Kaminsky Boxing Gym is located, Officer Tony Im, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department, confirmed.
While officials are yet to confirm that Blueface is the individual that was attacked, they did confirm that paramedics transported one male victim who had a stab wound to hospital.
However, Im did add that the victim was conscious and breathing at the scene.
The individual who assaulted the victim drove off in a black Tesla Model S with no license plates, the LAPD spokesman added.
No arrests have been made so far, and it is unclear if/when Blueface left hospital as of Wednesday afternoon.
Blueface posted CCTV footage of an altercation in the gym, just moments before the alleged stabbing took place.
In an Instagram post, the rapper confirmed he will no longer be fighting in October due to his injuries.
He wrote: "I won’t be able to fight October 14th due to a injury won’t have enough time to heal don’t say I ducked none bro came with a dog an a knife at 10am."
The video posted shows a man in a white tank top and jeans approach the rapper, who is wearing boxing gloves and a chest protector.
Another man - who has been identified as trainer David Kaminsky by TMZ - steps in-between the pair.
While a dog runs around frantically in the background, Blueface and the attacker can be seen squaring up, where a few punches are thrown.
The man then appears to back away, but a knife looks to have been pulled out from his pocket.
"He keeps approaching me with a look in his eye. I know that look," Blueface narrates over the video.
The footage was cut off before the alleged stabbing happened.
Separate from this, Blueface is facing an attempted murder charge in Las Vegas.
