Eminem has proved time and time again that he really is the ‘Rap God’, but a video Dr Dre shared with his fans really sealed the deal.

Dre, whose real name is Andre Romell Young, famously discovered the Detroit icon in the late ‘90s after being handed his Slim Shady EP by Interscope Records co-founder Jimmy Iovine.

And it looks as if taking a punt on Eminem, now 53, proved the right decision, with the father-of-three having an Oscar, 15 Grammy Awards, and 12 studio albums under his belt.

Previously, Dre took to Instagram and shared a video of his protégé rapping the lyrics to ‘Godzilla’, the current theme song for WWE Monday Night RAW.

The song, which makes reference to iconic wrestling manager and performer Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan and WrestleMania, was released in 2020 as part of his eleventh record, Music to be Murdered By.

Featuring the late Juice WRLD, ‘Godzilla’ topped the charts in Ireland and the United Kingdom.

A couple of years ago, Dre, 61, shared a video of Eminem rapping the lyrics at lightning-fast speed.

"Fill 'em with the venom, and eliminate 'em. Other words, I Minute Maid 'em. I don't want to hurt 'em, but I did 'em in a fit of rage,” the American spat.

"I'm murdering again, nobody will evade him. I'm finna kill 'em and dump all the f***ing bodies in a lake. Obliterating everything, incinerating and renegade 'em.

"And I make anybody who want it with the pen afraid. But don't nobody want it but they're gonna get it anyway. 'Cause I'm beginning to feel like I'm mentally ill. I'm Atilla, kill or be killed, I'm a killer, be the vanilla gorilla. You're bringing the killer within me, out of me.”

The phenomenal clip continued, with Eminem waggling his finger in front of the camera while saying: "You don't want to be the enemy of the demon. Who went in me, and be on the receiving of me, what stupidity, it'd be.

"Every bit of me is the epitome of a spitter. When I'm in the vicinity, motherf***er, you better duck. Or you finna be dead the minute you run into me.

"A hundred percent of you is a fifth of a percent of me. I'm 'bout to f***ing finish you b**h, I'm unfadable. You wanna battle, I'm available, I'm blowing up like an inflatable. I'm undebatable, I'm unavoidable, I'm unevadable."

The legendary musician was so quick that Dre was forced to questio n if there really was anybody walking planet Earth who could rival the star?

Thankfully, the NWA star does not need to ever go up against Eminem, with the pair being frequent collaborators ever since Dre signed the ‘Lose Yourself’ favorite to his record label, Aftermath Records, back in 1998.

Naturally, the video got fans and producers alike just as fired up. Dre's short clip racked up millions of views, with thousands eager to share their reaction to the video.

One Instagram user praised: "Dre! Thank you so much for giving us Em!"

"You discovered him, and thanks for doing so," echoed a second.

"We're all gonna have an aneurysm trying to process this speed," another joked.

A fourth wrote that the 'Mockingbird' rapper 'can never be touched', while a fifth dubbed him a 'legend'.

"He is the man," wrote a final Instagram user.

What do you make of the quick-fire bars? Reckon you could match him?
