Fans are reacting to Ariana Grande's statement following fan backlash over the price of Eternal Sunshine Tour resale tickets.
In case you missed it, the singer is kicking off her huge world tour in the US, with show dates scheduled for the likes of California, Georgia, New York, and Illinois.
Due to overwhelming demand, tickets sold out instantly, and a large number were later listed on resale sites for more than face value.
For an example of prices, section two tickets for the Los Angeles show on Saturday, June 13 currently cost a whopping $9,504 via StubHub.
On September 13, the singer issued a statement on Instagram Stories to address the situation.

"Hi my angels, I have been on set all week but I wanted to let you know that what’s been happening with the secondary ticket resellers has been brought to my attention and of course I am incredibly bothered by it," she said.

"I've been on the phone every second of my free time fighting for a solution. I hear you and hopefully, we will be able to get more of these tickets into your hands instead of theirs. It’s not right.
"I just wanted you to know that my team and I see it and that I care very much and we will do, and are doing, everything we can. I love you so much and thank you for your patience and understanding."

On Reddit, fans have been discussing their thoughts on tour resale prices, after waiting over six years for the singer's upcoming tour.
"So why doesn’t she turn off the ability to resell tickets through Ticketmaster?" one asked on the platform. "Seems like a simple solution that should’ve happened before tickets even went on sale. Artists make these comments but rarely actually do anything to change it. Years ago, Adele toured and didn’t allow resale so it’s clearly possible."
Another added, "It's too late to do anything at this point, since those tickets were sold already. This should've been addressed way in advance. It's not like they didn't see this coming?"

A third said, "Clearly the only solution is for Ariana to add so many more tour dates, it’s not worth it for scalpers to buy anything because the supply exceeds the demand."
The UK's general sale also followed a similar pattern, after tickets sold out on Ticketmaster in less than 15 minutes.
So, where can you still buy tickets, and how much do they cost? Find out everything you need to know below.
