50 Cent has admitted during a recent TV interview how he's now committed to 'practicing abstinence'.
Cast your mind back to January when everyone was making their New Year's resolutions, you may remember 50 Cent claiming he would give up sex for the entirety of 2024.
The rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, took to Instagram at the beginning of the year to share three pictures of himself sat in a suit, complete with a shirt, tie and cigar.

A caption to the post read: "My new idea is so big, I don’t have time to be distracted I’m practicing abstinence, I have been meditating and focusing on my goals.
"I hope this New Year helps you excel to the next level. @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi."
Many were left confused by what exactly 'practicing abstinence' meant, particularly because Jackson was drinking alcohol in the snaps.

To put it simply, Healthline states 'in its simplest form, abstinence is the decision not to have sexual intercourse'.
Well, in an update to that pledge, Jackson said on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert how he is determined to stick with 'practicing abstinence'.
On the show, Colbert revealed the 50’s cover of Us Weekly magazine, which asked whether 50 Cent is 'really celibate'.
"I like this and I’ve got a follow-up question. 50 Cent, are you really celibate?" the talk show host asked.

The rapper instantly replied: "Listen, when you calm down, you can focus. It’s been good. I’ve been good to me.”
Colbert quipped back saying: "Ok. But, what’s the money for if you’re celibate? You know there are a couple of motivating factors in our evolutionary biology and they don’t include celibacy!"
The debate continued, with Jackson stating that's when things get 'complicated'.

He added: "Things start getting confusing because people are coming for different reasons. And then if you, like, go on a date but you have no interest in anything… I can see you now. It’s like, ‘Goddamn, girl. You’re fine, but you ain’t got nothing going on.'"
While the rapper may sing about being 'into having sex' in many of his tracks, he's staying away from such activity for this year, at least.
Many questioned at the start of the year whether 50 Cent could commit to the pledge, with one person penning: "Wow, let's see how it goes."
The rapper has certainly proved them wrong so far.
