Country music star Jimmie Allen's wife, Alexis, has announced a divorce and pregnancy reveal in the same statement.
Alexis, who goes by Lexi, shared with fans that she her soon-to-be ex-hubby will be separating after announcing that they will be shortly be welcoming a little tot into their lives.
The pair had been married for three years and already share two children together but will now be calling it quits just before they welcome their third.
But, the duo have now informed fans that they have since decided to part ways.
Lexi shared the statement to her 37.3k Instagram followers last week (22 April).
It read: "After much thought and reflection in recent months, Jimmie & I have made the decision to separate."
The statement went on to then share some more news regarding the now-broken-up couple.
She continued: "As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will be welcoming another child together later this year.
"Our number one priority is and always will be ensuring that our children are healthy, happy and loved, and we remain committed to co-parenting with love and respect for one another."
Lexi concluded the statement writing: "In light of our growing family, we respectfully request privacy during this time."
The soon to be mom-of-three turned off the comment section on the Instagram post but it has since received over 4,000 likes.
The 'Best Shot' singer also shared the same statement to his account too.
While neither of the two have spoken publicly about their upcoming divorce, fans were quick to notice when Lexi took to her Instagram Story to upload an oddly cryptic message.
It read: "The silence is loud enough for me."
She also went on to unfollow Jimmie from the social media platform.
The pregnancy reveal has definitely shocked some fans considering that Jimmie once claimed just last year that he and Lexi didn't plan on any new additions to their family.
He told Entertainment Tonight: "We threw around the idea of maybe having another one in like four years, we thought about it, we tossed around the idea.
"And then we closed the idea," he went on, adding that the pair already feel 'outnumbered' with the two little ones they already had.
