Emily Ratajkowski's Blurred Lines co-star reveals what happened on set after Robin Thicke allegedly groped her

A co-star of Emily Ratajkowski on the Blurred Lines music video has provided her version of events.

One of Emily Ratajkowski's co-stars from the set of the 'Blurred Lines' music video has revealed her version of events on set after Robin Thicke allegedly groped her.

Back in 2013, Thicke released a rather racy music video for 'Blurred Lines' - for those not in the know, the video included a slew of nearly-naked models dancing alongside Thicke, Pharrell Williams and T.I.

The unrated version of the video ended up being banned on YouTube for its explicit nature, with media headlines branding it as 'inappropriate' and 'sexist'.

Ratajkowski was one of the models who appeared in the video and in 2021, she accused Thicke of sexually assaulting her on set.

Discussing her experience in her book My Body, Ratajkowski alleged: "Suddenly, out of nowhere, I felt the coolness and foreignness of a stranger’s hands cupping my bare breasts from behind. I instinctively moved away, looking back at Robin Thicke.

"He smiled a goofy grin and stumbled backward, his eyes concealed behind his sunglasses."

She continued: "My head turned to the darkness beyond the set. [Director Diane Martel’s] voice cracked as she yelled out to me, ‘Are you okay?’

"I pushed my chin forward and shrugged, avoiding eye contact, feeling the heat of humiliation pump through my body. I didn’t react — not really, not like I should have."

Later in 2021, director Diane Martel collaborated those allegations in an interview with the Sunday Times and now, another model has given her version of events.

Elle Evans, who starred in the infamous video at the age of 23 with Ratajkowski and and fellow model Jessi M'Bengue, has spoken out about what Thicke apparently did on set.

Speaking to Bustle last week, Elle began by noting that shots between Thicke and Ratajkowski were done on a 'closed set' - meaning that no other actors were watching.

"All the stuff with Emily and Robin there together, that was a closed set. So they had no one else watching," the model said.

She added: "What I remember is that, toward the end of the shoot, Emily did leave very abruptly.

"There was kind of a bit of a scramble among the production team, like, 'What are we gonna do? How do we shoot the rest of the video without her?' I was told that she had a flight to catch."

Elle went on to speak about the advice she and her fellow models received ahead of shooting from the director, with Martel apparently urging them not to be 'too sexy'.

"I remember Diane shouting, like, ‘That's too sexy. Don't be too sexy. This is not the club, you know. This is not a lap dance'."

Since the first allegations were made nearly two years ago, Thicke has not addressed them publicly.

UNILAD has reached out to Robin Thicke's representatives for comment.
