A popular TikToker was left shocked after seeing herself mentioned in a movie she sat down to watch.
@Renduh (real name Renae) - a content creator on the video platform - has over 600,000 followers on the site where she shares tips and trick on a range of different topics.
I think for a lot of us, being mentioned in a popular movie or any film for that matter would be a real dream come true.

But the time that Renae was mentioned in Hallmark's The Wedding Veil: Inspiration actually came from an occasion when she shared the wrong information.
In a video uploaded to her TikTok, Renae shared a clip from the movie.
For those unaware, The Wedding Veil: Inspiration tells the story of a museum curator, Avery, and a new board member, Peter.

In the particular scene that Renae shared to her account, the characters are talking about "everyone’s favorite appliance repair woman."
They then referenced the content creator's famous dishwasher pods video, which has over 100k likes on TikTok.
In this viral video, Renae claimed that dishwasher pods should be placed in the body of the dishwasher for the most effective cleaning, instead of the dispenser compartment.

According to the TikToker, the gel coating on the pods can get very sticky and can easily gunk up the dishwasher dispenser over time, which would obviously mean its lifespan would be shorter.
The advice divided opinion on the video-sharing platform, with some saying they are now using Renae's advice while others said that they would stick with what they know.
But it appears the creators of The Wedding Veil: Inspiration certainly approved as they mentioned it in the film.

After she notices that her hack made it into the movie, Renae said: "What? Holy s**t they’re talking about me.
"And, they reference the one piece of information that I was incorrect about and then later corrected."
A few weeks after that viral video went out, Renae provided an update to her followers saying that her information was not right.
She said that it was perfectly fine to put the pods in the same place as liquid detergent, despite her initial warnings that it would cause a clog up.
