A horror movie is loved so much by film fans that they're watching it twice.

There are many great horror movies that have been released over the years - The Shining remaining as one of the top, alongside the likes of Alien, Saw, and Get Out.

But there's one lesser-known movie that was released in 2020 that people are still loving to this day, and it boasts a pretty impressive cast.

The likes of Hilary Swank, Emma Roberts, Justin Hartley and Ike Barinholtz all feature in the film, as well as My Name Is Earl favorite Ethan Suplee.

What's the movie called, I hear you ask? The Hunt.

A synopsis for the movie given on IMDb reads: "Twelve strangers wake up in a clearing. They don't know where they are, or how they got there. They don't know they've been chosen - for a very specific purpose."

That specific purpose is to be hunted like animals by another group of people for sport.

In recent days, someone took to Facebook group Netflix Bangers to ask people their thoughts on The Hunt and whether it was worth a watch or not.

"Watch it ASAP," one person replied.

"Definitely 10 out of 10 on this one," raved another, as a different person branded it as a 'brilliant film'.

Someone else continued: "So good very entertaining! Pop some popcorn sit back and enjoy, a little gory but it's violent."

Elsewhere someone enjoyed it so much that they recently rewatched it.

They said: "Watched for the second time yesterday!! It’s entertaining and a great movie."

Another horror fan hailed The Hunt as the 'best movie [they've] ever watched'.

While The Hunt is not on Netflix, it is available to stream of Freevee.

A newer horror movie to have hit cinemas in recent days is Amy Adams' Nightbitch.

In the film, the actress is a stay-at-home mom who quit her art career to take care of her child.

But she grows tired of living a some-what mundane life and her maternal, animalistic instincts come out and she starts turning into a dog (only at night, of course).

But whether she really turns into a dog or not is down to the viewer's own interpretation, says Nightbitch director Marielle Heller.

"I think it's kind of nice if everybody gets to make their own conclusion," Heller told UNILAD.

"I sort of love the ambiguity that I felt in the book when I read Rachel's book. And so the aim of the movie was also to not fill in all of the answers for you, but I'll leave a certain amount of that up to discussion."

Nightbitch is in theaters now.
