Netflix viewers have given the new sitcom That '90s Show the biggest sign of approval by demanding another season.

That '90s Show dropped on Thursday (19 January) and it has charmed nostalgia lovers and fans of That '70s Show.

It follows Eric and Donna’s daughter, Leia Forman, staying with her grandparents, Red and Kitty during the summer of 1995.

Desperate to reinvent herself, Leia finds a brand new crew of friends and, as expected, their favorite hang-out quickly becomes the infamous Point Place basement.

Original That '70s Show cast members Topher Grace (Eric), Laura Prepon (Donna), Wilmer Valderrama (Fez), Ashton Kutcher (Michael) and Mila Kunis (Jackie) will all turn up as guests throughout the show, which is hugely satisfying for fans of the show.

After bingeing the 10-episode season, fans have taken to social media to ask for more.

One fan tweeted: "Just finished That '90s Show and I kinda loved it???? The new cast has good chemistry and I love leia she really is Eric's daughter. I just wish the laugh track would dial back but this is a good reboot bc they don't rely on nostalgia. Kitty and red carried ofc. im hoping for a s2."

Another viewer praised the series online, writing: "really enjoyed that 90s show! hope they get booked for a second season."

Someone else wrote: "I finished That '90s Show, I really want another season," with three crying emojis.

A fourth fan urged people to watch the show to ensure it comes back. "OKAY BUT ALL OF YOU BETTER WATCH THAT '90S SHOW ON NETFLIX. I NEED A SECOND SEASON," they demanded.

A Twitter user gushed: "Ok but That '90s Show was actually rly cute and i want a second season. fun and easy watch!"

That '90s Show focuses on Eric and Donna's daughter Leia.

Now that we have reboots, spin-offs and revivals of shows like Gossip Girl, The Proud Family and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, some fans said That '90s Show is an example of how to do a reboot properly.

While another shared: “Enjoyed That '90s Show. Prime example of how to do a reboot/sequel series," a viewer tweeted. "Captures the edge and fun of the original. And kudos to them for being the one multicam that gets lighting & lenses. It has texture doesn’t look like it’s being performed live in your living under a flood lights.”

There's no official word yet on whether That '90s Show will be back for another season but it doesn't seem unlikely based on reactions from fans so far.
