Seth Green says Bill Murray dropped him in a trash can when he was 9 years old

Seth Green has accused Bill Murray of being horrible to him on the set of Saturday Night Live years ago

Seth Green has made a complaint against Bill Murray, claiming that the actor dangled him upside down by his feet and then dropped him into a bin when he was just nine-years-old.

The Austin Powers star was speaking on the Good Mythical Morning YouTube show and explained his experiences with the Groundhog Day star, which took place when he appeared on Saturday Night Live as Murray was hosting.

Green's comments follow more allegations of inappropriate conduct that have been levelled against Murray, including ones that saw the production of Aziz Ansari’s directorial debut Being Mortal shut down.

Green claimed: “When I was nine years old, I did a spot on Saturday Night Live when Mary Gross was one of the on-the-scene anchor people for the news, and she did a whole thing about what kids think about the Christmas holiday.

“[Murray] saw me sitting on the arm of this chair and made a big fuss about me being in his seat.

“And I was like, ‘That is absurd. I am sitting on the arm of this couch. There are several lengths of this sofa. Kindly eff off'. And he was like, ‘That’s my chair’.”

Green went on to say that his mother then tried to ask him to move out of the chair, but Green still refused to do so on principle, adding: “Are you this much of a jerk? This rude to tell a nine-year-old to get out of your chair.

“What is this power play?”

That – Green alleges – led to Murray grabbing him by the ankles and dangling him over a trash can before eventually letting go.

“He picked me up by my ankles,” he said.

“Held me upside down… He dangled me over a trash can, and he was like, ‘The trash goes in the trash can'.

“And I was screaming, and I swung my arms, flailed wildly, full contact with his balls.

“He dropped me in the trash can, the trash can falls over.

“I was horrified.

“I ran away, hid under the table in my dressing room and just cried.”

UNILAD has approached Murray’s legal representative for comment, given that the actor famously doesn’t have an agent or manager.

Murray has also been accused of ‘inappropriate behaviour’ on the set of Being Mortal, with a female colleague accusing him of kissing and straddling her.

Responding to those allegations in an April interview, Murray said: “I had a difference of opinion with a woman I’m working with.

“I did something I thought was funny and it wasn’t taken that way.”

“The movie studio wanted to do the right thing, so they wanted to check it all out and investigate it and so they stopped the production.
