A critically acclaimed James Ransone movie is available to stream for free in the wake of the actor's tragic death.
Ransome died at the age of 46 last week, with police in California confirming that he sadly died by suicide on Friday (December 19).
Officers were called to a property in Fairfax, Los Angeles, following reports of an unresponsive person at around 2 pm.
Tributes have flooded in for the star, including from The Wire creator David Simon, who simply posted a photo of Ransone to his Bluesky account.

Ransone starred as Ziggy Sobotka for 12 episodes of the HBO crime drama, and later worked with the director again, alongside Alexander Skarsgård in war drama Generation Kill.
Now, one of Ransone's top-rated movies described as 'unlike anything else' by critics can be streamed for free.

The indie comedy-drama takes place on Christmas Eve in Hollywood, and follows two transgender sex workers as they navigate betrayal, friendship and life on the streets of LA.
It focuses on Sin-Dee Rella (Kitana Kiki Rodriguez), who has just been released from a short stint in jail. She meets up with her friend Alexandra (Mya Taylor), and learns that her boyfriend Chester (Ransone) - who also works as her pimp - has been cheating on her with a cisgender woman while she was locked up.
Enraged, Sin-Dee embarks on a frantic search across the city to find Chester and confront the woman, dragging Alexandra along on her chaotic quest.
Most notably, the movie is shot entirely on iPhone 5s, a decision director Sean Baker made to encourage creative experimentation and keep production costs low.
The film in question is called Tangerine, and it's been rated 96 percent by Rotten Tomatoes critics.

Matthew Turner from WOW247 hailed it as an 'expertly made indie that's unlike anything else you've seen..."
He added: "By turns exhilarating, moving and laugh-out-loud funny, [Tangerine] is thoroughly entertaining."
James Marsh from South China Morning Post boldly dubbed it 'the best LA Christmas movie since Die Hard, describing it as 'absolutely essential viewing,' while Jason Best of Movie Talk said Tangerine was 'buzzing with life, energy and salty wit.'
The film is available to stream for free on two US platforms.
As per JustWatch, the Tangerine is available on Fubo, which is currently running a seven-day free trial. After, the subscription costs $32 a month.
It's also available on Hulu, which is also offering a free trial for 30 days, charging an $11.99 monthly subscription free thereafter.
A number of Ransone's movies and TV shows are available to stream with different subscriptions.
All five seasons of The Wire are streaming on Prime Video with the HBO Max add-on.
It: Chapter Two is available with the same subscription.
Sinister and Sinister 2 aren't available to stream but can be rented from $3.99 on both Apple TV and Prime Video.
