Fans of The Devil Wears Prada have been losing their minds after getting their first glimpse at the long-awaited sequel of the 2006 classic.
Many of the big names from the first film are returning for The Devil Wears Prada 2 and social media users can barely contain their excitement.
The glimpse into the sequel really understands the words behind ‘teaser trailer’ as it doesn’t seem to give much away in terms of plot.
But it is certainly stylish if nothing else.

With the beginning of Madonna’s classic song 'Vogue' playing, the trailer starts by following behind a woman’s shoes as she walks in an office towards an elevator.
Seconds later, it is revealed to be Meryl Streep’s character, Miranda Priestly, who is joined by Anne Hathaway’s Andy Sachs in the elevator at the last moment.
In a sly nod to the fans (and the 20 year wait between films), Miranda simply says ‘took you long enough’ to Andy in her usual tone.

One YouTube user commented: "'Took you long enough' WE LOVE A GOOD METAREFERENCE.”
Another wrote: "No but the fact they put Madonna’s vogue is so iconic."
A third said: “Nothing like a vogue intro and the clacks. Will be watching this in high fashion. We can’t disappoint Miranda at the theatre!”
And someone else added: "Now that's a trailer. Showing everything without spoiling anything."
As well as Hathaway and Streep returning for The Devil Wears Prada 2, the teaser trailer confirms that Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci will also be reprising their roles.
The film is set to be released on May 1, 2026.
