Star of Euphoria Angus Cloud can be seen in the trailer for the upcoming movie Your Lucky Day, the actor's final film before he tragically passed away.

The actor wrapped his first lead, big screen movie role not long before his death, aged just 25.

The upcoming movie Your Lucky Day sees Cloud taking on the role of mild-mannered drug dealer Sterling. Sterling takes a local convenience store hostage on Christmas Eve after witnessing a wealthy older man winning a jackpot lottery ticket and scoop $156 million.

In the trailer, we see Sterling in a fatal shootout with a police officer. This leaves the six survivors wondering whether they should just split the money and run, or speak up about what they've witnessed.

The trailer features him saying: "I just keep thinking about that old question; ‘What would you do if you had a million dollars'?"

He adds: “Nobody ever got rich without doing no crime.”

While it is Cloud's first main action role on the big screen, it was tragically his last.

Cloud died at his family home in Oakland on 31 July 2023.

The social page for Euphoria paid tribute to the actor at the time.

It said: "We are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud. He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family.

"We extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time.”

Cloud had struggled with his mental health and addiction during his lifetime, and praised the show for offering a nuanced perspective on such struggles.

In February 2022, he told Complex: “Not all your actions define you. I’ve said it before, good people are forced to do bad things.

"The question is, like, if you got a starving family, if you go steal some f**king apple off an orchard to f**king save your family, does that make you a bad person for stealing an apple or a good person for looking after your family?

"It’s not black and white.

“Fez isn’t a bad person, he’s just someone in an unfortunate situation, kind of like most of the characters on Euphoria. What he does for a living doesn’t change the fact that he’s compassionate and good-natured, and ready to protect and defend his people when he needs to.”

Your Lucky Day is set to premiere on 10 November, and will honor Cloud at the end of the film, saying 'For Angus'.
