According to an author, Jeffrey Epstein sent a disturbing final message just hours before he was found deceased in his prison cell.
Convicted pedophile Epstein was found dead in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, New York City in August 2019.
The financier had been arrested earlier in the year and died aged 66 while awaiting trial for charges related to sex trafficking - charges to which he pleaded not guilty.

Epstein's death was ruled as a suicide by a medical examiner, though his lawyers challenged the conclusion and opened their own investigation.
Author Michael Wolff has claimed he was the last person to hear from Epstein before his death in 2019, telling the Daily Beast Podcast: "I believe that I was…I got the last message from him before he died.
"And this came through one of his lawyers on a Friday evening. He died on Saturday morning."

Wolff went on to claim: "His message to me hours before this happened, and it was just in response to me asking how he was, and he said: ‘Still hanging around'."
The New York Office of the Chief Medical Examiner found that Epstein's injuries were consistent with suicide by hanging.
Joanna Coles, host of the podcast, asked Wolff if he believed it was some kind of coded message from Epstein, to which the author responded: "No, I don't… I don’t know. I mean, it was in character."
Wolff, who has written books on Donald Trump in the past, said Epstein often adopted a 'unserious, ironic' tone.

Conspiracy theories have been rift for years suggesting Epstein had some form of 'client list' that had rich and powerful people involved in sex trafficking.
Well, after an investigation, DOJ and FBI concluded that such did not exist.

The FBI/DOJ memo stated: "This systematic review revealed no incriminating ‘client list'. There was also no credible evidence found that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions.

"We did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties."
Commenting on people not believing that Epstein committed suicide, FBI director Kash Patel has previously said: "Well, I mean, listen - they have a right to their opinion, but as someone who has worked as a public defender, as a prosecutor who's been in that prison system, who's been in the metropolitan detention center, who's been in segregated housing.
"You know a suicide when you see one, and that's what that was. He killed himself."
