There's less than a month to go until new Stranger Things episodes are finally here, and Netflix has just dropped a brand new trailer for the highly-anticipated fifth and final season of the show.

Fans have understandably lost their minds over the new look at the show, with viewers commenting to say they have 'chills' and have been left 'crying' over the scenes which depict an insight to what Netflix described as the characters' 'toughest challenge yet'.

Hawkins has been placed under military quarantine and Vecna is back in full force in the final season, meaning there's no time for Eleven, Will, Dustin, Max and Lucas to relax and catch up.

Millie Bobby Brown, who stars as Eleven in Stranger Things, offered some insight as to what fans can expect from the upcoming season as she commented: “This season we are going right into it and Eleven is in training mode. She's in a warrior state, which is the first time you see Eleven like that at the beginning of a season.

"As for her mindset, all she is thinking about is protecting her friends. Her friends are her chosen family, so she will do whatever it takes to protect them and we're going to see that.”

    Check out the trailer below:

Meanwhile, Noah Schnapp, who plays Will, has been assured that he's back in Hawkins and fans will be able to see 'the effects of him being back in that realm'.

"We kind of hit the ground running right away this season, which is really exciting and not how we've started any other season. Everyone is all in one place and we all have the same objective.”

Mike is once again adopting his 'leadership mode' persona to take on the new missions, with actor Finn Wolfhard saying: "He’s kind of taken it more upon himself to help plan out these missions, and he and the whole gang are devoted to finding Vecna and ending this.”

The first episodes of season five arrive on November 26.
