Netflix viewers have been left hooked after re-discovering a series that has been on the streaming platform for a while.

While there is plenty of new film and TV shows added to the popular streaming site every single week, there is no harm in tuning into a classic is there?

There are, of course, many classics in the Netflix archive, including the likes of Stranger Things.

The current talk of the town when it comes to the Netflix abyss is Queen of the South - a season that started way back in 2016.

The series follows Teresa Mendoza, who unfortunately falls in love with a member of a successful drug cartel.

But after her boyfriend is murdered, Teresa is forced to flee the country, eventually taking refuge in the US.

And while you may think that is the end of the story, Teresa's troubles are unfortunately not over.

While the first season may have been out for eight years at this point, many are discovering Queen of the South for the first time, while others re-discover its former glory.

And, of course, many have flocked to Facebook's 'Netflix Bangers' to discuss it with fellow subscribers.

"Well Well Well… Tell me more about this?" one person asked after posting a promo image of Queen of the South.

"Amazing watched it twice and probably would watch again. Fully enjoyed amazing ending , miss the characters lol," a third remarked.
