Margot Robbie and Will Smith are dominating the Netflix charts with a forgotten crime drama fans can't stop watching.

As those dark, cold winter nights start taking hold, what better way to spend your evening than cozying up in front of the TV?

If it's escapism in the form of comedy and steamy romance you're after, then look no further than Netflix's number-one movie.

The 2015 flick is the most-watched in the US right now, having joined the streamer on Sunday November 10.

In just four short days, it's shot to the top of the Netflix movie charts, above festive comedy Meet Me Next Christmas and Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum action-adventure The Lost City.

And if, like me, you're a sucker for a will-they, won't-they, you'll probably eat this up.

Smith stars as seasoned conman Nicky Spurgeon, who runs into his former protege - and lover! - while going about his latest scam.

Now an accomplished femme fatale, Jess Barrett, played by Robbie, threatens to upend his thriving empire as he attempts to win her back.

The movie is titled Focus, and you can watch the trailer below:

Directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, the movie grossed a total of $158.8 million worldwide - but was absolutely slated by critics.

Rotten Tomatoes reviewers scored it just 56 percent, with the consensus insisting Focus has 'a few too many twists and turns'.

It adds: "But it nearly skates by on its glamorous setting and the charm of its stars."

While the audience has rated it even lower, at 53 percent, some fans just can't get enough of the movie.

So much so, people insist they've watched it multiple times over.

One fan gushed: "I have watched this movie at least five times. Brilliant. Clever. Stunning performances. Margo Robbie is UNBELIEVABLE - a talented actress and absolutely gorgeous. This was pre-slap Will Smith giving it his all."

A second agreed: "Margot and Will are great in this movie. It's one of those that's better on the second watch. Some stuff is pretty far fetched but it pretty good overall."

While a third described it as a 'fun con flick,' adding: "I can't believe I disagree this much with critics and audience. Actors acting like actors pulling off criminal capers, what's not to love. I've seen it two times, I liked it so much."

Focus is streaming now on Netflix.
