A Netflix series with a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score you haven't binge-watched yet?

Looking back at your Netflix consumption over the years, it would be easy to think you must've made it through all the very best the streaming platform has to offer.

However, there's five series available to watch on the streaming service which've all obtained a perfect percentage on Rotten Tomatoes, yet it's likely they won't have graced your screen before nor perhaps have even made it onto your 'To Watch' list.

And, well, given they all have 100 percent tomatometer scores the only way to really rank them was based on their popcornmeter wasn't it?

5) Savage Beauty (2022)

The South African drama was written by Lebogang Mogashoa and directed by Denny Miller, Rea Rangaka and Thati Pele.

The plot centers around a South African global beauty empire and the face of the brand, Zinhle Manzini (Rosemary Zimu), who returns 15 years later with a score to settle and secrets to expose.

It stars Zimu (Champagne) alongside the likes of Dumisani Mbebe (Primeval) and Nthati Moshesh (Ayanda).

Alongside a 100 percent Rotten Tomatoes tomatometer score, Savage Beauty has a still solid popcornmeter score of 66.

Delving deep into beauty standards, the series has been praised online for being 'a marvel to watch', alongside being applauded for it's 'powerful cast'.

One Twitter user said: "Yo Savage Beauty on Netflix is a marvel to watch!! When have we ever seen colorism and bleaching being confronted on SA television??! It tackles polygamy, it tackles colorism in the beauty industry and it tackles difficulties of children being born out of wedlock all rolled in one.

"The casting is impeccable!! I love how they didn’t use the typical faces we always see in a platform."

4) The Order (2019-2020)

The American horror drama was written by Dennis Heaton, Shelley Eriksen, Rachel Langer, Jennica Harper, Penny Gummerson, and Jason Filiatrault.

It premiered on Netflix in March, 2019, running for two seasons before being canceled in November 2020.

The Order is set around a college and a secret society that teaches and practices magic called the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose. However, when one freshman decides to delve deeper into the society, he ends up uncovering a dark history.

The series stars the likes of Jake Manley (Holidate), Sarah Grey (Almost Human) and Adam DiMarco (The White Lotus).

The Order has a solid Rotten Tomatoes popcornmeter score of 70 to go along its perfect tomatometer rating, with one Quora user reviewing: "Eye candies, drama , supernatural stuff all over again with different cast and crew. To be honest The Order reminds me of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina but with diversity in focus on other creatures equally."

An IMDB reviewer branded the series the 'funniest supernatural show' they've 'ever seen' and a Twitter user called it a 'surprising TV show' you 'should watch'.

3) Better Than Us (2018-2019)

If you were a fan - or realistically were left s**t-scared - of Humans, then Лучше, чем люди (Better Than Us) follows a similar thread.

Created by Andrey Junkovsky, Aleksandr Dagan and Aleksandr Kessel, the 2018 sci-fi series was originally produced for for the Russian state channel C1R, however, it went on to become the first Russian series presented as a Netflix original series.

Set in 2029 - the not so distant future, making it even more of a goose-pimpling watch - the series centers around a prototype of a new android named Arisa (Paulina Andreeva). But what will happen when Arisa is abused by humans, goes against Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics and forms a close bond with a child?

The series has achieved a Rotten Tomatoes popcornmeter score of 86 percent with viewers flooding online to praise it.

A Twitter user wrote: "Watching "Better Than Us" on Netflix and oh boy, it's really good. #Netflix #robots."

"This is the best thing I have watched for a long time - just excellent TV. Not binge-watch omigodwhathappensnext TV, I find an episode at a time is enough. But hugely satisfying. Hard to pin down why it's so compelling, just lots of little subtleties, some really interesting characters, and deeply gripping with just enough action to be exciting but not overkill," another social media user said.

2) Pantheon (2022-2023)

Loved Arcane? Well, you may've already heard of Pantheon and if not? Get it on your 'To Watch' list.

The American animated sci-fi series is based on a series of short stories by Ken Liu and was created by Craig Silverstein.

The first season premiered on AMC+ in September 2022 and re-released on Amazon Prime Video the following year, a second season following in October 2023.

The series sees a young woman begin receiving messages claiming to be sent from her late father. In a bid to find out whether her dad is really alive, she ends up flung into the world of tech and unravelling a conspiracy far bigger than she could've ever imagined - could another world war be looming?

The voice cast includes Katie Chang (The Bling Ring), Paul Dano (The Batman) and Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight).

Alongside its 100 percent Rotten Tomatoes tomatometer score, Pantheon has obtained an impressive popcornmeter of 94, however, a fan of the show has lamented why not more know about it.

A Reddit user took to a thread two months ago to write: "This animated series was released in 2022 by AMC+ and was poorly marketed despite being an absolute Gem. I think this is something a lot of Expanse fans will like. The series is based on the writings of Ken Liu and animated by Titmouse Animation, the same folks who did Scavengers Reign. This is thinking person’s entertainment; fully cinematic, Sci-Fi/tech mystery with a stellar voice cast and impeccable writing and pacing.

"What I love the most about The Expanse is how deeply human and real it feels within the epic new worlds we get to see. Pantheon shares this same grounded approach to its story and its why I felt I needed to share it with you all.

Much like The Expanse, this series is so under-appreciated and hopefully will get all the attention it deserves."

And it's funny the user should mention a certain other series...

1) Scavenger's Reign (2023)

The American animated series was originally created by Joseph Bennett and Charles Huettner for Max, based on their 2016 short film Scavengers and according to IMDB was 'heavily influenced by the Studio Ghibli film Nausica'.

The plot centers around the remaining crew members of damaged interstellar freighter ship who've crash-landed on a beautiful, but dangerous alien planet, faced with the challenge of surviving long enough to be rescued or to try and escape themselves.

The voice cast includes the likes of Sunita Mani (GLOW), Oluwunmi Mosaku (Damilola, Our Loved Boy) and Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development).

Alongside a perfect Rotten Tomatoes tomatometer score, Scavenger's Reign holds an impressive popcornmeter score of 96 percent and those who have heard of it and watched it before it was canceled by Max after just one season in May 2024 have shared their support for the series online.

"It’s like watching beautiful cosmic horror and human existentialism at the same time!," another responded.

A third wrote: "One of the most symbolically rich and stunningly beautiful representations of life and nature ever. I was in awe. Gonna rewatch."

And a fourth resolved: "I'm rooting for Scavenger's Reign. An entire animation universe should be built around this show."
