Fans are just finding out Elon Musk appeared in a Marvel film and they didn't even notice

Elon Musk's cameo in a Marvel film had one fan asking: "Is there anything left that this man cannot do?"

It seems every and their mom has been in the MCU at some point... including Elon Musk.

While superhero fatigue may be setting in for many former fans, it can be fun to look back at some of the hey day years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Knowing the conclusion of Infinity Saga is made even more enjoyable when you can pick out Easter eggs, clues and hints that show up throughout the films.

But one clip has begun doing the rounds on social media due to it featuring a surprising character, tech billionaire Elon Musk.

Now you haven’t accidentally missed a film where we saw the Tesla CEO suit up and join the Guardians of the Galaxies or Avengers, but there is one film in the first phase that featured Musk you might have missed.

On social media one user remarked ‘is there anything left that this man cannot do?' after seeing the scene with the billionaire’s speaking role.

“Wow I didn’t notice when I saw this movie,” a second added.

Need a hint? Well he has a brief interaction with Marvel's very own, billionaire playboy philanthropist.

Well in case you haven’t guessed which film, it's Iron Man 2, which hit screens in 2010.

Praising Musk for the cameo, one user commented: “And then he became the closest thing to the real life version of Tony Stark.”

“Oh, I remember that scene in Iron Man 2! It was so cool seeing Elon Musk pop up unexpectedly. It's fascinating how our real-life innovators make their mark in pop culture. Makes you think about the intersection of fiction and reality, right?” another added.

In the clip featuring Musk, Robert Downey Jr and Gwyneth Paltrow, playing Tony Stark and Pepper Potts respectively, are in Monaco for a Grand Prix Race.

In a lounge area, the pair bump into Musk and exchange pleasantries with Stark saying: "Elon, how's it going? Those Merlin engines are fantastic."

Musk replies: "Thank you. Yeah, I've got an idea for an electric jet," before Stark replying they are going to make it happen.

The Merlin Engine Stark refers to is the family of rocket engines that were developed by Musk’s company SpaceX.

And since Stark is known as an innovative genius in the universe, responsible for multiple advancements in technology it makes sense why he might know another heavyweight in the industry like Musk.
