Kaley Cuoco won't do sex scenes anymore and admits to using a body double

She said she's 'past' doing her own sex scenes

Kaley Cuoco has revealed her days of doing sex scenes are behind her, admitting that she’s much happier using a stand-in.

The Big Bang Theory star, who recently welcomed her first child with partner Tom Pelphrey, has said filming raunchy scenes is not her ‘thing’ and she’d ‘rather let someone else do it’. Fair enough.

You can check out the trailer for her new show here:

Speaking on USA Today, Cuoco revealed that while filming her upcoming series Based on a True Story, she used a body double for sex scenes.

She explained: "I don't roll that way. I need someone else to do that stuff.

"I'm past that. I'm not doing that anymore. Also, who wants to see that? Not my thing.

“I'd rather let someone else do it, and that's what's movie magic [is for]. We don't have to do those things anymore. We can have someone else do it, and we can fake our way through.”

She also shared that her co-star Chris Messina, who plays her on-screen husband, went one step further and used a stand-in for a scene in which he played tennis.

Cuoco was actually pregnant while filming, and admitted to being very grateful for body doubles as her due date grew nearer.

“I had to be on my feet a lot. It was a lot,” she says. “And by the end, I was nine months pregnant. So the fight scene at the end near the grave − the fantasy − a lot of that was done by my double because it was like I was literally about to give birth, like any second.”

Thankfully, Cuoco’s little bundle of joy didn’t make her debut during filming a grave-side fight scene.

The adorable newborn was born on March 30, with Cuoco confirming the happy news on April 1 in a post on Instagram.

The 37-year-old wrote: "3-30-23 Introducing Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives!

"We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle.

"Thank you to the doctors, nurses, family and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days. We are blessed beyond belief."

Tagging her boyfriend and the father of her child, she added: "@tommypelphrey didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did."

Pelphrey also shared a slew of adorable snaps alongside the caption: “'You are the Soul of the Universe. And your name is Love.' - Rumi.

"My heart is full of love and gratitude for this miracle… Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey 3/30.

"Eternally grateful for the strength and bravery of my soulmate and best friend @kaleycuoco. You are incredible."
