The Hunger Games fans have been left touched by a cast reunion at Comic-Con which resulted in Amandla Stenberg making peace with Jack Quaid.
One of the most heart-wrenching moments from the the dystopian adventure trilogy was in 2012's The Hunger Games when Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) made friends with younger contestant Rue (Stenberg), only to have her cruelly killed in front of her via an arrow to the chest courtesy of the ruthless Marvel (Quaid).
Quaid has reportedly faced hate for years because of Marvel killing off one of fans' most favourite characters and also the brutal nature of the murder.

However, the bad blood between the characters has since been put to bed after Stenberg sent Quaid a video message while he was at Comic-Con.
In the video message, Stenberg reflects on how 'many years' it's been since the pair have seen one another.
She teasingly continues: "And it’s taken me time to recover — sometimes I still get a jabbing pain through my abdomen, and I’m reminded of the time that you murdered me.

"But we all have our faults. And I forgive you."
Quaid immediately erupts into celebration, thanking his former co-star for forgiving him for her character's murder after he's allegedly suffered people 'spitting at [him] in the streets for years'. "I'm very happy. I'm getting emotional. It's all good. Everyone move on, I'll recover," he says jokingly.
While the actor has faced hated from some Hunger Games fans, other viewers didn't even recognise the actor in his murderous role.

Last year, one fan took to Twitter in shock. They wrote: "Wait ... @JackQuaid92
killed Rue?!???"
The actor responded, confirming - as well as apologising - he was indeed guilty of the horrific crime, however, he also reminded the user that karma came straight back to bite him, with Katniss immediately flinging an arrow into him.
"In all fairness, I met my demise VERY quickly afterwards. I was brainwashed by my luxurious District 1 upbringing. But yes incredibly sorry," Quaid said.

Quaid's interview follows soon after the announcement of a prequel to the trilogy titled The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.
Francis Lawrence will be returning in the role of director and the film features an all-star cast including the likes of Thor: Love and Thunder's Peter Dinklage, West Side Story's Rachel Zegler and Euphoria's Hunter Schafer.

The film is set to hit cinemas next year on 17 November.
