Fans were shocked to see Chris Hemsworth's naked behind make an appearance in the new trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder.
A trailer for the highly anticipated Marvel flick, the fourth in the Thor series, dropped last night, 23 May, and it's an action-packed ride to say the least.
As well as showing as Natalie Portman's Jane Foster like we've never seen her before, we were also introduced to Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher for the first time.

But there's one moment that particularly grabbed the attention of the MCU fandom – the Space Viking in the nude.

Right at the end of the trailer, we see Russell Crowe's Zeus flicking off Thor's outfit. But as the superhero himself says, he 'flicked too hard' and we're left with a butt naked God of Thunder.

Marvel did do us the courtesy of pixelating Hemsworth's cheeks, but that hasn't stopped the fans from losing it on social media.
"So that makes 3 hammers total in the movie," wrote one, while another said (all in caps): "NOT THOR BEING BUTT ASS NEKKED IM CRYIGJJFJD."
A third wrote: "Sweet baby jesus we see Thors Butt. Ya’ll have no idea how many people will be flocking to Theaters to see that on the Big Screen and in IMAX. Umm yeah I’m one of those people.

"Steve Rogers may have America’s ass but Thor has the Universe’s Ass!"
Plenty of people shared this sentiment, including this person who said, "Gonna watch Thor butt naked for 10 hrs on repeat see ya."
Then there were those on the other side of the fence, with this commenter writing: "I did not need to see Thor butt ass naked…"

Butt or no butt, the new film is expected to be as successful as its predecessor Thor: Ragnarok, and will see Thor stepping away from his superhero days before being called back into action alongside Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie and his ex-girlfriend Jane, who transforms into the Mighty Thor.
The team must join together to stop Gorr the God Butcher from eliminating all gods in his act of vengeance.
