Elizabeth Olsen has shared some advice for actors who may be considering joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Olsen, 34, joined Marvel playing the role of Wanda Maximoff - or the Scarlet Witch - in Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015.

She reprised the role for Captain America: Civil War the following year and again in 2018 for Avengers: Infinity War; as well as 2019’s Avengers: Endgame and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in 2022.

And, of course, she played Wanda once again in the Disney Plus miniseries WandaVision, for which she earned nominations for a Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy.

So it seems that joining the MCU has been a smart move for Olsen - and now she’s shared some advice for other stars who may be considering a similar career path.

Appearing on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Olsen - who spent eight years working with Marvel - was quizzed on whether she'd ever been asked for advice about the franchise, to which she replied: “I’ve had some people ask about it.”

Olsen joined the MCU back in 2015.

Offering the advice she gives, she went on: “Just give them one.” Meaning just sign up for one movie to begin with and then see where you are.

She continued: “I think that way you have more control over… If you, let’s say, ‘Oh my God, this is the most fun I’ve ever had and I love this character so much, I want to do it again,’ you now have more creative control for the next one.”

Last month, Olsen was asked if we would be seeing her playing Wanda again anytime soon - given that she seemingly died at the end of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness - but it seemed she was slightly hesitant to answer.

Appearing on the Today show back in April, Olsen said: “It's a hard question for me to answer because I feel like my words are always twisted every time I answer it, but like…”

After being reassured that her words wouldn’t be taken out of context, she added: “So my no twist zone is ‘Yes I hope so’. I have no idea. When I say that, it's not because I have a loaded answer. It's because I say, 'Yes I hope so,' and I mean it at face value.”

She went on to say she wasn’t currently filming any MCU projects and, for the time being at least, has no contract with the studio.
