Dwayne Johnson Surprises His Mum With New Home

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is famously one of Hollywood's nicest men, and he’s just proved it again by surprising his mum with a new house.
The Jumanji actor, 50, shared heartwarming footage of the incredible surprise on Instagram.
Johnson captioned the video: “Love you mom and surprise!”
He revealed: “When I was a little boy, I hated when my mom would cry ~ these days, I'll happily take her tears of joy.”
The actor then explained that he worked with a design team for eight weeks to create the home of his mum’s dreams.

He wanted her to ‘walk thru her front door for the very first time and everything she saw was brand new and a total surprise [sic]’.
Johnson wrote: "I’ve been lucky enough to have bought her a few homes over the years, but this one is special as she’s told me over and over these past few years, ‘After a lifetime of travelling, I want this home to be my last. That's my dream'.”
As well as the above, Johnson shared a video of his mum’s incredible reaction to her ‘Smackdown Room’, where she keeps all of her Rock memorabilia.
“This is my treasures,” she said.
However, the ever-humble actor said in the caption: “This is her favourite room to bring guests to and it’s my least favourite.”
He continued: “These Smackdown rooms she creates have such positive energy and beautiful mana. Always a good reminder for me to never forget where I came [from] and always be grateful for [the] grind.”
Reacting to the footage, one user wrote: “Don’t mind me crying w her. so beautiful and so thoughtful of you … love you always aunty ata! You deserve [sic].”
Another added: “I WOULD HAVE GIVEN ANYTHING TO BE ABLE TO DO THIS FOR MY MOM, YOUR A GOOD SON, GOD BLESS MOM, IN HER NEW HOME [sic].”
A third commented: "Now that’s a good son right there. Your mom is proud."
Jason Momoa, meanwhile, reacted to the video with heart emoji.
Johnson then addressed his followers with the sweet post and encouraged them to show their mums their thanks, even if it’s just with a hug.
He wrote: “I always say, if you got a good mom then you got a shot at becoming a good, caring human being.
“Let’s all give our mamas a big grateful squeeze this weekend and make ‘em happy.”
